@@richard1311 Assuming it gets enough sunlight or is full of oil or coal or uranium to create energy, otherwise there's no power source to even get equipment down to the core

@@paulbarton4395 If we have advanced to the point of using a planet for storage and computation hardware, I think we may have solved such problems. Eg Zero point energy, total energy convertion(resulting in complete heat-re-capture so machines to not overheat) Dyson spheres with directed energy transmission(covering a star in solar collectors and using is as power), Geo-thermal plants that rely only on the difference in temperaturein alttitude to generate power etc. Fossil fuels are cosmologically rare, from what I understand. Honestly, you could create a networ of solar colectors around the planet, soak up the ambient light, transmit that to reciever installation on the surface which fill batteryies, have them on a charge/usage rotation system and power it that way, assuming you had a large enough surface distance and collection efficiency ratio.

I made a crashed ship escape scenero on a desert planet in space engineers and this fits it perfectly especialy when the ship isninverted and your alll the way at the top starong down and the half mile long drop beyond the edge of staromg down at your feet
