I'm embarrassed to say I missed Bill Miller. My heritage is Anishanabe having my 4th. Great Grandmother Ottawa Indian. I'm playing catch up on everything Bill Miller. He has become a hero to me much like Robbie Robertson. I now need to find a Bill Miller concert. Hopefully he will play in Florida. I found Bill Miller on PBS Cavern Sessions and blew me away!

Those things that are horrible, cannot be swept under the carpet. They provide a valuable lesson about war and ethnic cleansing that need to be acknowledged so people don't forget and they never happen again. Love Bill Miller ~

I am crying................. in australia, i discovered you yesterday on spotify, I was reacting so much to this song, and now i hear the story, the song holds the eternal power of the dancers. i touched spirit today from your song. i just saw the other comments of crying . the ghostdancers were strong dancers with strong medicine eternal, may all who dance be blessed.

Crying, having heard this song for many years without knowing who wrote it or why. Even hearing about those pictures made me sick, hearing the song, I cry knowing I will see my son again. We held his memorial where he fasted bringing him out of his fast I saw him glowing like the sun, his body vibrating from what he had experienced.

This is powerful on so many levels. I was weeping in the naration before the singing started. Your music reverently interweaves the folk-guitar music of my youth with the Native American chanting I recognize as sacred. I continue to learn so much from the First Americans of how daily life and spitual ceremony are one. Thank you Bill Miller.

I learned of Bill Miller when he came to our little, rural community college on November 9, 2009. I was absolutely blown away that I was able to witness his amazing talent close up, not in an auditorium where I had to pay $50 to get in and needed binoculars to see the performer. I am so in awe of his beautiful voice and musical ability, and his courage in telling of experiences exactly as he sees them. I wish his performances could be purchased on video. He deserves to be paid when we watch.

Today I heard this recording for the first time. There are 123 comments. I watch for MOM as a way of walking the Red Road; the Magic in Ordinary Moments informs me, guides me. Numbers are how I invite the Divine to influence my decisions. I’m grateful for this one, and the one that took you, Bill, after seeing those photos, to where you met the grandmothers and wrote the Ghost Dance so you could help the healing that is so needed. I feel the Hand of God/ess on my shoulder. I act with love and trust.

Even though I'm of very English/Irish/Scottish background, this story means a lot to me. I grew up RIGHT "next door" to a few reservations in WA state and did one of my Optometry School internships in Fallon/Shurz/Yerington, NV so I learned the area he talks about here. The people here are great and it was one of the best times of my life! Thank you Bill!

Thank you for helping me to make a decision Bill. I have to leave Lake Mead National Park by Friday. Can't come back for a year (not knowing how long we could stay ) I guess I have been here too long picking up litter. Spirit felt betrayed and broken not knowing where to go. My friend of 48 years (past away) his Akido instructor did the kicks in Billy Jack. My first introduction to A.I.M. the words of Wovoka etc. This video is speaks so perfectly Bill. Feeling lost again, not knowing where to... I should go to Yerrington
