My parents and I went to camp hero in 2012 to walk around before our check in at a local hotel. We were (and still are) no strangers to trail walking or exploring but that day fucked me up beyond belief. What was only supposed to be a 2 hour trail walk turned into a 5-6 hour frenzy of trying to find out way out. Initially, we had walked through a section closer to the entrance of the park with other people on the trail. My dad wanted to see some more so we ventured deeper into the trail. I remember at one point feeling like we were going in circles but I trusted my dad that he knew where he was going. It wasn’t until the 3rd time we hit the same trail marker that we knew we were in trouble. I could tell my parents were getting nervous as we were already cutting it close to our check in time at this point so they decided to turn back around and try to get out. It was super quiet and we didn’t see anyone else to help give us directions to the exit. We got to a point in the trail where there were no more trail indicators or signs. My dad pulled out his camera and quietly whispered to my mom “we need to get a picture of us in case this doesn’t work out.” That’s when I got really scared. My mom was crying and I could tell my dad was now in survival mode. A couple strange things happened on our way out but we eventually made it out. I truly believe that something was fucking with us that day. I’ll never go back there ever again.

Accounts of my personal experiences of extremely high strangeness at Montauk Air Force Station and surrounding areas, and my subsequent research into the area and activities there can be found online. I wrote two reports in the 1990s. One is called "Montauk Air Force Station: Active or Not?" The second report is called 'Phoenix Undead: Camp Hero and the Montauk Project Today." My research and experiences at the base gave substantial corroboration and credibility to some of the extraordinary claims made in the books by Preston Nichols and Peter Moon. My research brought forth numerous accounts from service personnel stationed at Montauk and other military facilities with connections to the Montauk base, as well as accounts from people in the vicinity - who had their own extremely bizarre experiences at the Montauk base. My own experiences, corroborated by my partner and other associates, indicate conclusively that many things have gone on and are going on there that are completely outside the bounds of any legitimate or morally and ethically defensible criteria. I was so disturbed and outraged by some of these experiences that I approached a reporter at Dan's Papers in the Hamptons named Jerry Cimisi, and encouraged him to publish an account of my experiences and related information, which was done in 1995. I also can say that info presented here about Long Island geography isn't quite correct: Long Island IS a terminal glacial moraine, but Montauk - especially the area by the Base, radar tower, Turtle Cove and the lighthouse - is NOT. It's the upper remains of a volcanic undersea mountain now mostly submerged under the sea. Original inhabitants the Montaukett Indians knew about and used naturally-existing tunnels (lava tubes and caves) to traverse the area and evade unfriendly intruders. They and other Algonquin tribes considered Turtle Cove to be extremely powerful sacred land, like Mount Shasta: in fact, it was considered the source point of our reality and of "Turtle Island." This land was taken by the US gov't in 1910 via a binding COURT DECISION, a means quite unlike how white people took possession of most of North America. The US gov't wanted IRONCLAD, LEGAL title to Montauk Point with no possibility of any challenge down the road (like now.) After the base was wrecked and partially abandoned in the late 1970s, the US gov't donated ONLY the SURFACE of the property to NY State for the express and sole use as a state park - meaning NO further development (excavation). Suffice to say: it's a still VERY weird and creepy there, as the US gov't continues to use the exceptional esoteric energies of the location to amplify very secretive and advanced ongoing research and experiments - in the underground facilities. In Montauk village itself are a number of buildings, people and various systems that function in coordination with Camp Hero operations. The Native Americans there got screwed royally. So did we all. Read my reports. 1

I explored deep in the bunkers on REDACTED in the early 2000s. We got in though some sort of overhead shaft with a rope. That was a really unsettling and stressful night. There were rooms where they removed machines and there were wire bundles just cut off that were like 12" thick. I can only imagine what kind of machines they were running back then. Science knew no bounds in those days. They were really reaching far in those days for the most unknown. Being that I was under the influence, especially REDACTED, I was feeling all sorts of insane energy down there. I'm glad we got out safe. I wish I could get back in but they really sealed it off by the end of the 2000s. I want to see a high def video of the real deal underground complex. If I knew I'd never get back in I would have gone sober and filmed.

I have shaky footage with 1995 flashlights inside the underground tunnels on my channel, and to my knowledge no one else has ever filmed anything inside a bunker, except Preston's Montauk Tour video. It was not easy to get hands on a video camera back then, only folks living very comfortably had them. Recording anything there took a lot of planning to come home with footage. They sealed the Underground in 1993, but we kept getting in for years and getting chased by security, until they made it a park Open to the public in 2002. The only bunker that was open from 94-99 was Battery 113, but the only bunker to repel down 4 stories by rope is Battery 216, however it is a giant hole in hallway not a shaft. I have been inside every possible entrance to those have to be the only two you went in. I have been interviewing locals to Montauk for years and to my knowledge no one has ever found any other spot with deep access (except those local folks who have scuba dived the sewer lines)!

Hey George! GTSY here! @Enjoylifeweonlygotone You can find our video George mentioned above on the LSD rooms at Camp Hero - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZOvhmaJpsmpes0 and I believe Preston's Montauk Tour VHS is the only other footage out there! A lot of people mistake the Concrete cottage bunker (BC station) near the radar as the acid house, but it's not. The LSD house was knocked down in 1999....unfortunately. Also, never seen anyone homeless - too far from civilization....but Preston Nichols did write that he was indeed squatting at the base in the first book, so you are not wrong in thinking that!

John Quinn Newshawk!! Hey man nice to meet you! I have been reading your stuff since early 2000s, maybe even 2001, and had been exploring the base in 1988, and again in the 1993-1999 period, to present. I have always found that your trips there were very similar to ours. I have always highly recommended your reports, along with Valentinedesigns and Michele Guerin - Reptillians at Montauk. I even mentioned your story in conjunction with mine, on a TV show on the History channel, The Dark Files. We are the ones who found all those checks for monthly food ordered to the Montuak Air Force station for the late 80s, in the tens of thousands of dollars, in that little food concession building or PX. They chased us and we tossed them in the air as a diversion, then another blog had wrote about finding them right where I tossed them! Your encounter with the older gentleman with the fake baby in the stroller was amazing to read how that guy flipped out. I want you to see our video from 1995 at Camp Hero and the civilian I think you mean, had actually caught us coming out of the tunnels, and called police, who had arrested us for tresspassing. I recorded his face clearly, and the front of the cop car as we were cuffed, that was late August, 1995. I agree about Turtle Island and about the geology of Montauk. Many do not know there are volcanoes only 1000' below our feet on LI, but they can look that up. Turtle Island 100%! I hope this comment reaches you - Thanks for the awesome write ups! I am finally doing a book after almost 35 years of research at the base, and I plan on recommending your reports as Highly Recommended reading. Thanks for sharing your work, I must have read it dozens of times over the years. -Brian at Montauk Is Strange

I honestly believe that all the conspiracies around this place is true! That the Montauk project was real! Think about, this was meant to have happened decades ago like 1980s I’m sure? The reason I believe it’s true is because why on earth would someone make this kind of stuff up? Whoever was the first person to speak on it would’ve had to deal with a lot of abuse for speaking on something like this! I just don’t think someone would sit and make all that up, especially back then in the 1980s, things like mind reading and other things that was done in the montauk project no one would believe that kind of stuff! Yeah it’s a conspiracy theory now but some people have spoken out saying they worked there or they were a part of some of it and I believe them because why would they lie?

But the strange this about that is that the general location is beautiful. These evil scum from the Gov't sullied and dishonored a very beautiful and high energy place with their horrifying experiments. Well .. what else would one expect from them?!
