He has spent almost his ENTIRE life in costume,and mask just to entertain people,and now some people hate on him for absolutely NOTHING in real relevance.I can quite see how something can get as complicated as it could,but still be a blessing,him being in SUCH a fucking successful band.I honestly feel like his success has arose,and its being way tooooo misunderstood nowadays.I feel SO BAD for you,my baby.

People, once and for all: the singers are the same, NO CHANGE! The Ghoul doing the interview is Papa! And finally, Tobias Forge is Papa! I'm a Fire Marshal that works at a rock venue, spoke to a guitar tech of a famous band(remain nameless), who confirmed to me that Tobias is Papa!

In Sweden, English is taught in our fourth year of school. Swedish is rater similar to English in terms of grammar, as well as quite a few words. Learning a language at a young age is the key basis to speaking and writing it well.

This is totally Papa, no doubt, if you listen to other interviews, it's clearly the same voice, so we know it's the same Ghoul...and Papa is the face so of course he does all the interviews...

That's not Papa. Papa is not behind all the things. This guy is the guitar player playing the leads and he has a GB white guitar. He is the song writer or at least he writes many riffs to the band. Papa as far as I know it's only the singer and maybe the lyricist. Maybe...

I think this ghoul is papa, because his voice is similar to vocalist's voice. I mean he is wearing ghoul's clothes in some interviews. Sadly he told that papa will change in next album. I like papa's emeritus II mask.

It's pretty widely assumed that they didn't actually change vocalists. I've listened pretty carefully to both albums and I'd bet money it's the same guy. Also, if you watch a few videos, they have all the same mannerisms. The whole concept of Ghost is a gimmick and there are multiple interviews where they call it a gimmick themselves. But having a gimmick doesn't mean they aren't great musicians...they are. I've been grooving on them for awhile now. I just saw them live and it was epic.

Sometimes I' am pretty sure that this is the guy with the white guitar. But sometimes I think that he is Papa, because his voice is very similar to some vocal passages on the Opus Eponymous album. I don't know, anyway, they are a really cool band lml

EDsavant It definitely sounds like the same voice, but I don't enjoy it as much because he doesn't sing in the same refined style as Ghost. Still very good vocal work, though.

I agree completely. I think some of it had to do with the fact that they did a lot of double vocal tracks in Subvision songs that kind of made Tobias sound pitchy...but Ghost uses really complex harmonies instead which sound gorgeous and really refined.

There are some bands out there that just keep...fucking...going. *Cough, cough* Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Metallica Not that that's bad in and of itself, but putting an end point on the project is smart.

................................ opus eponymous was endorsed by james hetfield and phil anselmo, but it was not "wildly successful all over the world" it has probably sold only 200k copies to date despite the massive increase in popularity brought on by infestissumam. i know a lot of bands would kill to have an album sell 200k but that's not "wildy successful" in the music industry.
