GOI is surely to blame to a large extent, no doubt about that. However, what's also in question is the feasibility study of the requirements done by INDn Navy. INDn Navy may require a lot of things, but the fact that all vendors backed out, it only means that it isn't feasible to fulfill all those requirements off the shelve.

Then navy should go for Spanish s80 submarines because apart from the Germans they are the only one who wants to give critical technology transfer in this project. Technology transfer is the main reason why France & Russia walk out from this program later south Korea also walked out. The Spanish are good choice I think because this one is there first proper indigenous submarine & they want order to sustain there newly developed capability. Even if they have to give technology to India. Germans will never give technology transfer as you mentioned in your video they will trap Indian Navy

Few questions? What MOD was doing? Didn't they knew this? If yes then why deal was opened with such company? This is especially when Futuristic Bania is sitting at top of the post? In terms of financials, even Russian exploited us on Vikramaditya deal. Isreal too on Barak program. We are buyers so it is expected us to do arm twisting and not seller but this is true only when there is no vested interest from Indian lobby trying to get cream out of it. Its better we try and buy this company. We should give order to this company with only condition that the majority stake holding has to be sold to Indian Company. Otherwise move with Navantia... This AIP system is advanced than Germans and a bit closer to India's AIP system. Fuel cell based, more silent and need not carry onboard Hydrogen tanks. It will also be a very good idea. Being a smaller company they may be interested in more TOT transfer and also joint planning and integration of our own AIP systems in Project 75i, Kalvari class subs and future projects 😊 it will be a win-win for both. It will be a big project for Navantia and DRDO and will have more hands and experience and increase the level of Atmanirbharta. Even Navantia Subs are more advanced subs than Germans. Only German subs have only advantage of current in use AIP Systems only. No vertical launch system in both the subs.
