I was so proud of myself when I managed to do this without looking it up. The first one was complete luck. Saw a random monkey statue and tried bowing first, then playing the flute (which I do at pretty much anything that looks like it might react to either), and was utterly confused about the cutscene. Since there were a few other alternate paths on the mountain I didn't do the first time I decided to keep exploring, and that's when I found the second monkey. It's also when I noticed that he was covering his eyes, and it reminded me that the first one was covering his ears. Thought to myself "wait... is this... no..." and figured out that it was See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil. By some miracle I figured out that it was smoke bomb first try. The third one I was wrong about though. I figured it was in the one other path I didn't use the first time, so when I got down to Speak no Evil I tried whistling. It didn't let me, so I threw out a random bow and that did it. 1% completion according to PSN. That felt pretty good to deduce considering I'm legitimately dumb and slow-minded.

For monkey #3 you can just grapple the branch and jump right into the water, you won't take any fall damage; saves having to climb down.

The one with the smoke bomb has a painting next to it. That is the hint I'm assuming. Although I could not figure that one out and that is why I have found this video. Playing the flute and bowing are normally what you do in these situations but the new DLC has thrown a few curve balls our way LOL

Idk if I’m the only person that’s found this but I literally can’t find a single reference to this but at the bottom of the mountain is a fishing boat and a foot that’s been ripped off by a beast with tracks and the only thing to go on is a fire you can start… any one have any ideas???

Be aware, I've spent about 20m on this, and I don't think it's possible to do after you've completed the sanctuary. What's really lame is that I found all of the monkeys myself, but I didn't do the smoke or the flute in order. If not, it's glitched.

It worked for me, I completed the sanctuary then came back a few days later so I could complete this trophy, Then I completed the other 3 statues that I needed and I gave it to me instantly.

Around the island I found three shrines with records next to them, but can’t complete them for some reason. are these riddles? What do we have to do?

1: For the Blood Bourne based shrine, you have to equip the Kensei Armour and heal yourself next to the red circle on the wall. This is the same location where you find the scroll with the riddle written on it. 2: For The Shadow of the Colossus shrine, you have to equip the Ghost armour and use a smoke bomb next to the painting on the wall once again. 3: For the God of War shrine, you have to equip the Sakai Clan armour (Jin From Yarikawa variant), and head to the tree with a golden hand print. You simply unsheathe your sword in front it and you’ll complete it. Hope this helps.
