Ghost of Tsushima Legends: Most Powerful Fire Ronin Build in Legends

This here is the absolute ceiling for possible fire and status effects for a fire ronin running both the flaming roar class ability as well as the fire breath ultimate. I've brewed up a number of fire builds and tested many types but this one produces the max output for fire damage. Many players think the fire ult is underwhelming and without the right build it is. Although, with the right stats and pairing fire ult with the fire ability it's ridiculously strong.
Warning: this build is risky with to play and requires extreme caution, especially when using your ultimate. Without the smoke bomb the ult animation leaves you very vulnerable so it's best to stun enemies before using the ultimate to create a window of safety. Be aware and cautious of oni defenders and archers when using the ultimate or it could lead to a down.

You are a true ronin fire master , I started playing a fire ronin but lost confidence as no one at higher levels seemed to play it . But now looking at you I am inspired and will try it once again . Tbh it’s my favourite build . I need to learn the fine movement and bomb usage effectively as you never seem to run out of bombs . Thanks again I hope to attain this level of mastery

Appreciate the comment and kind words good sir. 🙏 Fire ronin can definitely be used at high levels. You just don’t see many players deviate from meta builds when it comes to higher level play. However, many non meta builds can also thrive and keep the game fun, interesting, and exciting. Fire ronin is a blast. Honestly I feel it’s better with smoke bomb though. I recommend you checking out my no damage fire ronin build as it is most optimal IMO. Faster and more efficient. Have fun and best of luck!

Yeah, I have also tried ultimate damage in the past on the fire ronin and it's kinda disappointing. You'd think that stat would work better but it doesn't really.

my personal observation is: 2x 20% Ultimate Damage does indeed do more Ult damage BUT depending on your scenario and what you want to achieve Adams approach is way more efficient. I build and compared different max fire Ronins as well. Using 4x SE and 2x 20% Ultimate Damage even without using Enjo, just the standard charm - the damage is enough to kill the standard archer and standard sword thug. i.e. Gold difficulty starting sword guys with just the Ultimate alone. Take one 20% Ultimate away and use SED instead and it doesn't work anymore. If your aim is to get the most fire damage on your Ultimate when playing with others, meaning to ignite all eniemes across the map close to you and allies - to help or snatch some kills away - that's the way to go. But i personally don't use it anymore. Also it's not the best way when playing alone and facing so much Onis + using fire from so much different sources like in this run especially when your Ult just hits the guys close to you. Since Adam uses use fire on Raging Flame, Caltrops, Blackpowder Bombs, Way of the flame plus the ignite from the shop and the Ultimate - taking Oni Damage and Status Effect Damage is way more usefull to all other sourcess of fire. Yeah that was lucky. It's about the timing they hit in my ult. Had they hit a half second later I probably wouldn't have survived.if they make contact right at the end of the ult animation it's game over lol...ronin ult out of a smoke bomb is so risky

@@afzalshah64 I see. Your build is very good but it sounds like your not using your resolve for anything other then revives. If you use epic caltrops you can also use the fire ultimate. When you do the fire ultimate and fire ability at the same time the damage stacks and it is very strong. Your build is good though. Just whatever you prefer really. This build is just max possible fire dmg build.

@@Atombomb-xo4vy yes yes that was the only thing bugging me about my buid that i coudnt use my ult and i also coudnt use stone striker coz then again i would lose demon seeds or spirit kunai but i have not used epic caltrops coz i did not upgrage any caltrops to 120 so i didnt know they would be enough but you make alot of sense like i am trying to get more damage by sacrificing more damage does not make sense but makes sense to me lol i will change to epic caltrops and fire ult and see how it goes thanks man you are a very nice and down to earth man thank you

nice! maybe a little excessive but what if you swapped your legendary for enjos with the 15% bonus and ran a big blast radius fired up sticky bomb. i know youʻd lose the cool down reduction but in the interest of fire over everything🤷🏽‍♂️ sounds a little suicidal with all the cooldowns and i definitely couldnt pull it off but if anybody could itʻd be you

Hey thanks man yeah I've thought of trying the combo you just mentioned. It think the damage would be awesome too. It's too bad enjos doesn't have status dmg or duration though. The SK is great for spamming that fire ability. It would be hard with the sticky but worth a shot cause it would be like a freaking nuke lol

On ronin stance damage is more useful that 1 resolve point and the melee damage, since ronin excels in stance breaking. A master katana with both fire buffs has proven to be most effective. Ghost weapon damage is not optimal either, since stance and fire damage do more. But nice to compare with my build of choice. The talisman that provides heavenly strike with a chance of thunder strike is a good combo, since the lightning Ignites enemies and spamming the ultra attack can compromise the team on nightmare survival, providing utility against strong foes. The legendary kunai fails in that.

I use this build. I use ghost weapon damage and status effect duration on the spirit kunai instead of decrease cooldown on kill. Very fun bar because everything on the screen is cooking

ohh yeah the status effect combo is extra spicy! The cd red on kill for the SK is the one stat I can never give up cause it allows you to throw those kunais so frequently which means more cooldowns!

@@legendslaboratory6820 I ended up going back to cooldown on kill, but yes whenever I max out ghost and duration I usually get 3 kills with the kunai so the cooldown on kills isn't needed. I guess I go between the 2 depending on how I feel.

@@erivera8193 that is for sure a proper title for this build. It's scary using that fire ult cause the oni defenders and archers love to mess with you in the animation and no smoke to safely do it. You can toss a flash bomb but the radius with this one is kinda lame so it doesn't always do what you need it to.

Haha yeah man ive been doing lots of no heals builds lately. It is risky but if you play a full damage build properly they get whooped so fast there isn't much of an opportunity for them to hit you. Just gotta have that health regen ready for tengu and poison boss waves. I used to never make a build without heals but now I realize there's a lot of fun potential in builds when you ditch the healing aspects as they often require legendary gear items and losing good techniques.
