Ghost of Tsushima: Legends | Perfect Nightmare Survival (Solo)

I've been doing Nightmare Survival duos for a very long time with my close friend but after they stopped playing the game, I just stopped seeing the appeal in Nightmare Survival compared to Hellmode so I decided to go back and try to get a solo for a change and it doesn't seem as fun playing solo or should I say alone... This is my first time getting a perfect solo.
There's a lot room for improvement as you can see but I never put that much time into getting into this and it's safe to say that I am very new to this field. This took me a total of 9-12 tries. Kept losing zones at Wave 9, missing Kunai kills and a few more errors but I would advise anyone to try to aim for this.
If you want to see my Wave 9 suffering check: 23:26. My mind went blank there I'm not sure I was thinking. Not only did I forget to get more arrows, not only did I forget to use barrel I hid or get fire arrows but I also wasted my Explosive Arrow on 9.1 which was a waste but probably saved me from losing Mine. It was a very close call but somehow I managed to survive it.
Highlights:
1:38 = Hiding a barrel that I won't use.
11:05 = Run fat boy, run.
15:43 = 6.1 was very ugly. I barely had the time to get in circle. Not sure how I did not lose it.
23:26 = Having second thoughts about getting the barrel I hid but realizing I have no time and no fire arrows.
25:08 = Sumo Ring fight.
37:28 = The worst 13.1 and 13.2 you'll ever see a Hunter do. I'm not sure why I kept going.

Nice one and way to hold it together at outpost on wave 9! I don't think I've ever seen a player execute the reload cancel as fast as you do. I thought you were using the weightless bow at first. That speed is insane. GG's

I mostly run perfect Hellmode duos and sometimes Nightmare Survival but never solos so this is still new to me and I've only given it about 11 tries. Got very distracted before wave 9 started so I was totally unprepared for that one hahah but I am one of those people who operate better under pressure. Thank you. I've been running double Reload Speed for a year now so I got hang of the timing. It actually has a very similar timing to The Weightless Spirit with only 20%.

For this video I was using double Reload Speed, this allows you to shoot faster and improves the reload cancel greatly. My advice for reload cancel is just really practice and get better sense of the timing. When you are about to do the reload cancel where you let go of L2, let go of L2 and R2 at the same time, this makes it go slightly faster but noticeable if you consistently do the cancel. One last thing to add is that even though this looks cool and flashy, it requires a lot of effort to do and even then it still fails in comparison to any build with more higher damage as Hunter's main focus is the ability and not the Ult. Ult requires too much set up and also takes longer to build and use so you lose so much time.

Anytime, I wish you luck. You'll master it soon enough and it'll become 2nd nature to you but I would always recommend only 20 reload speed and the other stat can be anything for higher damage unless you want to style.

@@LeeYanWu Yes, thank you. I have both builds now hehe I am recently enjoying the 2x reload speed. Though worried I might get withdrawal if I go back to 1x later on 🤣 eitherway, I wish to join the solo survivors one day

@@Kana-tq2jz It will definitely feel weird going back to only 1 reload, took me a while to get it. The only downside to the build I used her is that you need to be very consistent to get the most out of it. I await the day you get a solo. It's always nice to challenge yourself, you can even start with an easier difficulty or get a run done with lost zones and objectives and then improve over time.

Nightmare Survival order is always the same for the current week. Someone plays Nightmare Survival every week and takes notes of the spawn list and then we follow that list.
