Around the time period this game takes place, Japan became one of the largest manufacturers of firearms. A Ghost game being set in the 1600's is a great time period to explore similar themes of honor that were a heavy plot point in Ghost of Tsushima. It will be interesting to see the concept of honor play out in an era where Japan experienced the "New World" and the Samurai started using firearms.

1. So it looks like we're gonna play as someone other than Jin (She could his descendant or a completely new character) 2. We're gonna have duel swords, sick 3. We have access to other weapons as well (such as a chain and even guns) which i believe are required through Mythic quests just like the previous game 4. Looks like we'll be playing as a Ronin rather than a Samurai 5. I believe the Ghost will be qn urban legend kf some kind with the characters in the world arguing over whether he existed or not

The 'gun' featured in the game is Tanegashima, a matchlock which saw widespread use since mid-late 16th century. Not sure if the 'gun' in the new game would be old enough to qualify as a 'mythic' weapon. Armor or weapons of Sakai Jin, however, would be old and famous enough to qualify as one, provided his story was passed down the generation.

I will be disappointed if this game doesn't have a heavy story driven plot around the New World and firearms becoming a major element in Japanese society. At one point, Japan had more firearms than Europe. The era this game take place saw a lot of change in Samurai warfare and I'm interested how they implement those changes with the themes introduced in Ghost of Tsushima.

I guarantee Jin will be heavily referenced. We'll either be his/Yuna's descendant, his stories will be this games' version of the Legendary Tales, and/or we'll have to hunt for his old gear to unlock/upgrade it

I hope they have a mythic tale about Jin Sakai. A tale to learn the ghost stance. I also hope they includea tale or an easter egg about blue eye samurai. Maybe get a demon/oni mask with blue eyes.

They don't need to show gameplay, they are so confident in that we are loving them and what they do, that in the first seconds they show black and white screen to us! (probably Kurosawa mode) And no need for gameplay. We know this is going to be a beautiful work of art and they know that we know. Can't wait to see Atsu in action!!😊👹🏯🌊
