It works in reverse too. Alienate a game cus it has a female protagonist is straight up sexist and calling it woke is just hiding sexist opinnion. The time jump the place jump the protagonist change and gender change, bringing guns into the game, dual katana is all choices that help making the story and gameplay different from the first game and its 99% a creative choice and not a political choice.

It’s important to note Mt Yotei is also known as Makkarinupuri or Machineshiri (雌山) to the original inhabitants of Japan which translates to "female mountain". The change to a female protagonist is a thematic one. I get people don’t like that Jin isn’t the protagonist of this game but lets give the studio a little credit that they know what they are doing.

As a glass half full type person the negativity is very tiresome. I couldn't be more excited for Lunar Silver Star Story/ Lunar 2 remaster. The SNES through PS1 era of JRPG's was a golden age of RPG's in my mind. We had FF7, FF8 and FF9 in the span of 4 years. I welcome 20+year old remasters to fill in the gaps of these long dev cycles.

I like the way you handled the extreme negativity Ghost got for no reason. But hey, i am also not a fan of toxic positivity when it comes to Sony that happens in the channel sometimes. I know it's been too negative but Sony deserved it for many many reasons if we sit down and put pros and cons of the last 2-3 years you will notice. Of course this doesn't mean you shouldn't give praise when its due, and I'm hyped af for Ghost of Yotie, of course once i figure out they are trying to push agenda in the game i will have a problem, which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. I do believe because the channel is based around Sony it created a problem for me because i am about gaming and good games thats why i sometimes find extreme negativity and toxic positivity to be overwhelming. I still do wish this channel covers all interesting games to reduce the amount of negativity but i understand this channel will remain around Sony.

Everything was well said at the end of the stream MBG, I hope we can have discussions without toxicity in the future. Unfortunately that toxicity will always exist. For the record, I don't think you've cultivated this either, it's inevitable with how political games have gotten, and the more extreme people get the more conflict it creates. No one can argue this doesn't happen with both sides either.
