I love the combination of green with gold. Plus once I found an extremely shiny golden acrylic paint, I immediately wanted to use it in my next work. At first, I decided to do a ghost pour using a reversed swipe combined with a regular swipe, but then I saw that the results didn't differ much, so I stuck to the basic swipe technique.
What you'll need:
1) 30 x 40 cm or 12 x 16"
2) 10 Acrylic colors:
- Neutral Grey
- Reflex Yellow
- Reflex Green
- Lamp Black
- Primary Yellow
- Titanium White
- Sap Green
- Permanent Green Light
- Deep Gold
- Extremely Bright Metallic
3) Pouring Fluid - liquid acrylic medium
4) 8 squeeze bottles and 1 plastic cup
5) Blow torch for cooking
6) Mixing spoons
7) Art Spatula or kitchen knife
8) Baking paper
9) Plastic sheets for swipe, I cut mine from a plastic folder.
Preparations:
1) Mix pouring fluid with colors in separate plastic cups/tubes.
(Follow instructions written on pouring fluid, as each one has a different ratio.)
TIP: Be careful to press gently the plastic sheet when you are swiping, to avoid removing too much paint.
Instructions:
- Follow the steps in the video.
- Leave the paint to dry for about 48 - 72 hours.
