I don't understand why people always said that it not work in Wildlands. The camo doesn't make you totally invisible, it just makes your stealth easier by reducing enemy detection range. I got the optical camo after finishing 2/3 of the campaign and this thing made the game way too easy, you clearly just stand 4m in front of them and no one would notice it

_Optical Camo_ Behemoth by helicopter, parachute out, onto Behemoth Tower & get the '1000 Camo points', instead of just 200-800 per mission. Go to next fast travel point close to next Behemoth Tower & get another Helicopter & repeat...& again. I'd like to see ghost using camo to get next to enemy in camo.. 😄

One thing to mention is that I found it better to go into those behemoth zone while running panther to use the class equipment that you spray on yourself to just run in there and grab the point and then dip😂

I have fully upgraded my Optical Camo and I was shocked by two things - the sheer ability to make you undetectable even in the harshest of conditions, and the fact that you can use fully upgraded camo in the campaign just as if you could in Motherland

@@Gordon87Gekkoonly during the “conquest” (ie. the “operation motherland” mode). inside-there is the-only-way to obtain the “optical-camouflage points” that are used to upgrade the optical-camouflage. that being said, whatever upgrades you did to the optical-camouflage, they stay on the optical-camouflage thingy when you “turn-off” the “conquest / operation-motherland” mode and go-back to the regular story (ie. what’s-labeled in Ghost-Recon-Breakpoint as “Episode 1 / Operation Greenstone”).

Actually i LOVE that the knife is visible. It allows the viewer to still realize how the enemy is being killed while still appreciating the appearance (or lack there of) of your invisible character. I'd imagine seeing the enemy gets stabbed without seeing the knife would be underwhelming.

Skell Foundation Campus 1200 Camo Point

There's a few basis with over 1000 camo points. 2 or 3 bases with 1600. A few more with 1200. Each base has several crates most are in the same room, but some are not (the tac map will show if you missed any points at a location). Then there's a good number of bases with 800 points (2 crates, separate locations). Those bases and behemoths will give you all the points needed. I did not take note of the base locations (sorry, I can't be more specific) and once maxed out camo points no longer show up on the map. You just need to manually search the tac map. You shouldn't need to bother with 400 and 200 camo point locations it's a waste of time. I even had a few behemoth locations with no behemoth and I just walked in grabbed the points and waltzed right out no problem. Hope that helps!

1:36 somehow nobody has flagged up the fact the feed belt on EVERY light machine gun doesn't work. Since day 1! Guess nobody uses LMG's enough to care. Kind of sad tbh, but the rest of the update looks really good

It's probably a problem with the models and managing resources... easy fix? Add a feed chute to every model, like they have on miniguns. Realistic? No. But it would solve the problem at least.

I think people stopped using lmgs like before because Ubisoft added 100 round magazines for assault rifles which IMO has a faster reload and better recoil than most lmgs

You can hover your cursor over locations on the map and it will tell you how many Camo points are at that location. You can use this method when in the location to ensure you have not left any crates behind 👍👍

Grinded behemoths and wolf bases for this. Its op for my playstyle since i can just activate it when being spotted and literally vanish. Too bad it doesnt negate sound so its hard to get close to someone without them turning around Also. Some areas like that southern Channels airfield gives 1600 and the Auroa Intranet place in Silent Mountain gives you 1400

Timed mission suck. But I’m enjoying the new NPC’s as well as the multiple vehicle destruction levels. It’s very splinter cell, in my humble opinion. Sneaking about, unseen, planting C4 on all the vehicles, then watching them all go boom at the same time- Heaven!

That optimal camo is god. As for stealth gameplay, it can make you undetected even in a situation that enemy face me lower than 5 meters in extreme. I can active the camo walk through in the flycatcher’s base control room without engaging.

Nah I maxed out my camo 4 hours after I got it cause the behemoths that you destroy in story mode don’t spawn back in so it was a walk in the park and then some other really large bases have 1200-1600 Camo points

In wildlands you only have a 25 to 5 percent of less detection depending on difficulty as a pro with the camo in future soldier and wildlands the optical camo is extremely nerfed

They should add a system for clothes and gear thats like the weapons system where your weapon's paint and look gets scratched, dirty, etc. over time and give us the ability to renew the paint or look of our gear.

I wish there were a secondary function for a button on the console to turn on the camo on/off without holding the item wheel button and then press the reload button. I almost would prefer it being on the item wheel so we could select it, then press the “use item button” in contrast, but that’s just me. I think it looks smooth how ASQD transitioned in and out of camo without having to pull up the item wheel. Must be nice to play on PC.

@@TLKobe89 You can do it without the item wheel appearing. Looks like you're on XB as well, so just tap RB+X really quickly and it turns it on/off without the item wheel appearing. Make sure it's just a quick tap, don't hold the item wheel button down. You will be able to transition the exact same way he does in the video.
