GHOST RECON WILDLANDS - Farming Tier Points at Tier 20 - Tier One

Tonight I'm hitting Tier 20 in the Ghost Recon Wildlands Tier system no matter what, and here's how I'm doing it! Here's a pretty solid system for farming Tier One points at higher levels, and it's working for me.

The missions reset at the next tier level, and have found that doing the larger missions not the quick hit missions are better for points

afaik, and you can see there, that the Boston Reed mission, which is the final in a 5 skull zone gives the same points as every other mission, I believe in the video, it's 2750 at tier 23? regardless, yeah that's a good point, that maybe it's the next tier point, because no amount of fast traveling or exiting the game seems to work for me. for The Convoy mission in Koani, you can fast travel to Koani Charlie and then activate the mission,when they spawned you can take them out instanly

I just found new way to earn a lot of Tier point 10k each time or so, fast travel to Koani Charlie, there's an combat base at the south of it, stand on the rock ledge, shoot the generator, every kill you get is 150+ tier point, because you stand there, no one gonna see you so every kill is undetected, make sure you save 1 closest guy, because sometime unidad patrol around that base, you can kill them to get 500+ tier point each vehicle, and when you cant see unidad anymore, use your unsupressed AR to make that guard you save hunt you, the amount of unidad patrol increase when you hunted, so they'll keep coming. and at this base, unidad's helicopters patrol around every 2-3 minutes, so you'll have 500+ extra tier point

Make sure you complete "The Adviser" in Espiritu Santo as well; you can fly a drone in and kill the target without having to interact with anyone else. It's magical.

Hmm, I was wondering since every LEVEL UP increases the amount of Tier points needed!! Also weapon leveling up requires MORE points for each successive level up. Gets a little ridicules after awhile! But I KNOW UBISOFT. I used to play Ghost Recon Online. Great game but Ubisoft destroyed it with their GREED. The game was free so they made their money by SELLING everything else. Oh you COULD earn enough points to buy whatever with your points but it was so bad you would have to play for a VERY LONG TIME to get anything!! Then guys would PAY to upgrade then you could NOT WIN, so you would start buying too. Ubisoft learn their job well, VERY WELL. So today they SELL the game and then try to tempt you BUY so you can upgrade faster, and FASTER... JUST PAY the PIPER !!

Here's another easy mission, you can activate Gabriela mission in Mojocoyo, fast travel to that village, break the brick wall so she can move faster, call in a chopper, setup some mine at the end of the road, lead her to the chopper and extract her to land zone. It take about 1 minute

One very easy way is to go to the east of Malca where you have a rally point. Very close by in Flor The Oro you have a big Unidad base. Go to the right of the checkpoint on the little mountain and mark snipers in the towers and then sync shoot them. With 3 synced and you shooting one you'll get around 700 tier points. You can do this over and over if you want to. It's easy and very fast.

Dude for the convoy, use the explosive drone!! Theres 3 more missions u can use the explosive drone for 2k plus tier points, u dont even have to fire a bullet

I just reached tier 5 today using this method ever since tier 20. Basically, all of these missions in Koani are worth replaying at least once in my opinion. I usually do them all twice (except for flight plan. I usually only do that once since you have to fly all the way to Media Luna). If you also have the Unidad conspiracy missions unlocked for Media Luna, the first two of those are definitely worth doing for points, and there's also quite a few others in Remanzo, and Mojocoyo. Altogether, I've been able to rank up each time from doing all these missions twice, with a few supply raids on the side. I'll admit, it still felt like a damn grind, but it's far more efficient than just hovering around in an apache blowing cars up

In Inca camina as well as using the planes to grind you can also do la carbra mission as well. Fly a chopper on a hill and fly your drone in the building sync shot the negotiated and la cabra and fly away takes about 1 minute and each plane takes about 3-4

Best missions are when you need to kill or destroy something, cause, either sniper or explosive drone and done. No sweating at all. When you need the resources, you can emp the convoy. blow the front and back car with the sniper change to assault rifle or smp whatever you use, kill the driver and the co driver. collect the points done. I normally need around one minute per convoy after emp hits.

Try this AFK- On single player invite only map. Get into an APC in an open area of the salt flats. Kill some UNIDAD until 4/5 patrols - don't get into 5/5. Rubber Band the controllers right trigger "accelerator" fully down and a slight left turn. Press up on the D-pad "order assault". AI teammates will kill UNIDAD and stay at level 4/5. Come back once in a while to activate new TIER level.

guys one tip when u replay a mission just set it to advance but when you're about to finsh the mission turn on tier one you'll still get the setted reward tier 100% legit guys itll make it easy on media luna

This is my "hack" to get tier points fast. I know this is 3 years late but I just recently found this out. Do the truck depot mission and after you finish, go back into the base and there should be a black hawk with missiles attached to it on a helipad near the edge of the base. Take that helicopter and then go around shooting every Unidad and Santa Blanca that you can see. Each Unidad truck killed, at Tier 6 for example, gets like 500-700 tier points. So if you take down 20+ Unidad trucks, that's like 12,000 tier points. I have gotten 1,000+ tier points before just for taking down a Unidad truck. For reference, it took me about 30-45 minutes to get from Tier 6 to Tier 5 using this method.

for the convoy in koani if you fast travel to the safe house closest to the starting point on the convoy u can take out the cargo truck with the hti from the actual safehouse.

The points reset when you go to your next tier, it has nothing to do with time. My favorite missions to farm are the advisor, the convoy (use the hti at koani charlie but activate it when you are there so you can snipe it directly) and boston reed and the muledoctors (use syncshot). I don't have the inca camina missions so I can't do those :(

Currently i'm Tier 31 and was going for the Tier 5 reward but after seeing a lots of videos and digging through some discussions i think i stay with my beloved mk17. While Tier 1 mode is a really good idea i have to agree that it fails it's goal - at least for a casual gamer with little free time like me. I do like the added challange, the bonuses and rewards (the HTI BDC is a BEAST!) but on the other hand... i feel how the grinding wears me and i'm just only halfway through with the campaign. That and given the godlike aimbot-like AI... I'm playing on extreme and use my drone and rebel skills excessively but one wrong step, one missed enemy and i know i'm screwed. Not what i would call a motivation.

That's something they patched a while back. Used to when you destroyed a vehicle, you got tier points for kills on everyone inside, but they fixed that back in like August or September or something. Ubisoft said it was a bug causing it, but never rectified it, so I assume that it was them taking it away.

The Inca Camina Peruvian connection missions are super easy...I called in my Unidad Helicopter (equipped with missiles) fly over them, blow them up, off to the next one...super easy

I've been seeing recently(idk if it was patched or not) that nearly half the time I do not get points for killing vehicles with multiple people in them. Only if I shoot the vehicle and the guys get out do I get points. Most often though a vehicle kill gets me no tier points at all.

I found that the F.O.B with the Sam Fisher mission in La Cruz is really good for farming. You wanna start south of the F.O.B and parachute jump inside or just behind La Armeria(the armory). Theres no patrol just outside or behind it, but you have to be careful not to get spotted. Go inside the armory and press up against the back of the center shelf then order your teammates to fire, using your medic drone to revive them if they go down. You cant use mortars or itll consider you detected but its good as a semi-afk way to level tier mode and even before tier mode i used this tactic from level 25 to 30. @Darkdally

The Drug Lord's Ride in Inca Camina is actually pretty easy if you know how to cheese the fuck out of it. I crash a helicopter right onto the roof behind where the car is hidden and go right for it. Most of the time I don't get even get shot. Sometimes I manage to not even get detected, other times I get downed and wait for the AI to revive me so I'm invincible for a bit and I get the car no problem.

One question - I've noticed that when spawning the Little-Bird helicopter - it is completely immune to gunfire (including sniper-fire and turret-fire). Is this a glitch or is it supposed to be so in order to allow th eplayer not to die the second he sits in the helicopter? Because I noticed that it is a very easy way to farm Tier-points - just sit in the helicopter and let the AI-teammates kill the AI-bad guys and it's done.

for convoys I memorize the routes just pile cars up on the road and wait then I snipe the driver, call in hired guns to help me deal with the rest. I mostly do it for roleplay purposes.

Here is my post about WHICH weapons are best to Level Up in Tier Mode. I thought it was in this video but could not find it. So HERE GOES, its a long one, but you'll like it (I think): I watched some videos early on about LEVELING UP in Tier Mode, both character and weapons. It takes a lot, and I mean A LOT OF POINTS to level UP in Tier Mode! So I did not want to waste a lot of time and points leveling up one weapon and then later on find a BETTER ONE. So I wanted to pick the RIGHT WEAPON to begin with. Almost every weapon excels in 1 or 2 areas (or categories). Like the M4A1 had the fastest ROF (rate of fire) and good Noise Reduction. The SIG556 Llama had the best penetration. The Mk 17 had the best range. The ACR wasn't even on my list of BESTs? So I went back and checked. The reason is that it is PRETTY good in every category but EXCELS in nothing. That doesn't mean it’s bad, in fact that means it is pretty well balanced. Also it is not easy comparing the stats. It all depends on HOW you have set the weapons up. Such as adding the "Under Barrel" mods changes the stats. If you put a grenade launcher your AR it will reduces Accuracy by 10% and reduces Handling by 40%, compare to the 'Shift Short Angled Grip'. If you are going for the best accuracy you WANT the 'Shift Short Angled Grip'. I have set up another AR as a secondary with a grenade launcher. Most of the time I have the Desert Tech HTI BDC as my sniper rifle. For some situations if I want a grenade launcher. Then I will equip myself with the BEST AR (later), but with the 'Shift Short Angled Grip' for the best accuracy, and then the Second Best AR with a Grenade launcher. I use my BEST/FAVORITE a lot for close to mid-range sniping. You can switch it to single-shot, and it works great. So then I only need the sniper rifle if I want to REACH OUT and touch someone, and if I will need it to ONE-SHOT vehicles and helicopters. However, most of the time I do carry the Desert Tech HTI BDC. So my favorite AR is the TAR-21, equipped with the TA31H scope, full-auto and simi-auto Trigger, the 'Shift Short Angled Grip' Under Barrel. For the Rail system some people prefer the ATPIAL Rail? The Range Finder gives you more 'Range' but it reduces both accuracy and handling. The TAR-21 already has good range. I use the Laser 3Dot because it gives me more accuracy and handling. Also other things I used on this weapon reduces the handling so I need some more handling. My magazine is of course the MAX 50 rounds, with a LONG barrel and a Suppressor. The problem IS that there is NO perfect weapon, even in real life. I am a retired police and SWAT Sniper. I was top-gun (Rifle and Pistol) in my department, also a gun-smith and ballistic expert! I JUST have to LAUGH at some game companies’ ATTEMPT at making computer weapons like the REAL THING. So far, some of them do pretty good. But hey, it’s a GAME right? Just do what you like, choose your OWN weapon, or whatever works for you and let the critics be damned. LOL

E just let me add, I have no paid xp boost, progress is very slow, I mostly play solo with bots, a lot of illogicalities in the game the opponent sometimes hits you from impossible situations, what to say about unidad are literally everywhere how many times I fell mission because suddenly appeared right behind my back ... etc. so play tier mode 0% enjoy 100% frustration, and one more thing, progress comes down to repeating the same missions a million times, I'm currently tier 6 and honestly I can't wait to finish because it has become unbearable

In terms of gathering points for your tier, you can actually just go clean up enemy bases stealthily, since being undetected gives points too than just barging in guns blazing. I personally clean up 4 major UNIDAD bases for this, 2 in Media Luna and another 2 in Flor De Oro. Clean them up (and I mean kill every soldier inside) without being detected, that gives a good amount of points. There are other UNIDAD bases on the map but I find those 4 the largest.

Just stop at tier 40 the desert tech hti is the only good reward. I just saved you 7 hours of grinding.
