Just an addition... For players who want a method that works without EMP or high level drones. Ambush tactics using demo works great. Plant C4 in the road, seperation distance between charges is approximately the radius of your demo (Don't overlap your zones). Set the demo right and your lead and tail gun trucks should roll over your demo at the same time. Detonate and clean up the supply driver and co and tag your supply. Cheers...

That's not a bad plan. Think I'm going to use a landmine for the forward plant though, I'm more likely to succeed with that. Either that or C4 the lead shield and HTI/M203 the rear.

Or.... use an explosive drone, spot convoy, Mark driver and passenger of target vechile, next explode helicopter using drone. Quickly tube each vechile (excluding target truck). Note! Do not tube vechiles if they are to close to target. This method is for Solo play.

This has since been patched. If you want to know the new method I have level 30ed all my 186 weapons in the game. I have my own video showing the new method on my channel but below is the explanation. So I have all weapons in the game to Level 30. If you want to see a more detailed and just a bit more updated method for fast Convoy farming, it might be worth checking out. The EMP drone can stop the convoy but often times on hills the vehicles will group together when they stop. That means if you blow up the escorts with the Desert Tec HTI, HTI, BFG, or SR-25 Jungle, it will destroy the target vehicle. Instead just use binos or any drone to perform a spotting on the target vehicle. Synced shot the passenger and driver. So on you first shot you will get rid of one vehicle and stop the convoy in that first shit. Then you just need two more shots to kill the other vehicle and Helicopter. Also, his route is not great. If you respawn at Ramanzo Brazo you will have a 5000 right at you. Next you travel North not even 3k to Koani fro 2 5000s. Next head East to media Luna for 2 more 5000s. (Always travel in a little Bird helicopter for speed and manuveerability. Fly dirt low). At this point the Ramazo Brazo convoy is back. At NO POINT do you want to fast travel. Why? Because the load times are so long now that you can travel 5k before spawning back into the game. Again I have all of my 186 weapons to level 30. I can complete 1 weapon to level 30 from nothing in about an hour. At Tier 1 you get 17650 per 5000 Convoy. To level 30 a weapon you need just a bit over 119k per the 4 Convoy types. That means you need to hit 7 per at Tier level 1. I hope this helps you and this guy did the best he could. It came out a year ago and there is just better information out there.

Try using a unidad chopper with heat seekers, and taking out convoys. You can do it very easily and still get max points. I get 11,000 utility and 668 tier points. Extreme difficulty in tier mode.... Currently level 26.

Using the AssaultRifle "Ritmo" the trucks only need one grenade from the grenadelauncher! :)

Fastest farm I've done with two or more players is use sasg shotgun. One player shoots middle car 8 times and tags while other player throws c4 everywhere. As soon as it's tagged det the c4. Got it down to 36 seconds from spawn to spawn. Which equals 500 000 supplies per hour.

In Tier One mode, you can also use an anti material rifle to blow up the escort. Its faster than 3 40mm rounds

I always just grinded up in the very upper-left of the map, since there was always two convoys and I could do both then fast travel and they're back. I did it in the same way too. I was really hoping there would be a better way to do it though.

Coop is faster. You just TAG it and then everyone dies. You respawn at the intercept location and just wait for the cars.

I have my explosive drone upgraded to just the first rank which makes it strong enough when detonated right in front of the supply truck that the driver and passenger get out on their own but does not damage the truck so I get full points, saves time since you don't have to pull them out of the vehicle. I'm afraid to upgrade it anymore since you can't go back, right now it works fine upgraded anymore it might damage the truck too much.

You can do the same thing, with just a SR-25 Jungle. You can literally one-shot everything with that rifle.

much quicker to let the enemies of one truck see u after the tag...let them kill u and u respawn in the road right before convoy gets there and keep the resources u tagged...i was able to get about 215,000 in an hour..so, follow this video, but leave one of the vehicles standing..run up, tag the convoy..then stand in the road and let the other vehicle kill you..you respawn in the road with about 15 sec before the convoy rolls thru..

i use the hti to instant explode enemy vehicles.. usually i just shoot the truck to 1/3 but ill try the emp... seems saver for the sniper kills of the trucks

There is a far better way in my view & practice, I rake 100k in 10min. You team up with Tier 1 and you do split convoys. Each person does one convoy at a time and when you ready to TAG you let everyone know you are done so they can all join in, then rinse and repeat different locations, it doesn't get boring as much as this method, same spot same drill. I am sitting with close to 3mil of each resource.

Probably the most annoying thing in GR:Wildlands. After I upgraded 3 weapons max damage (Tier 1 mode) to 30 I said F-IT. All I remember in GR now is farming convoys.

+Depleted Should be 1080p and high quality. Ghost Recon has a lot of "artifacting" that happens in compression because of the night filters, but it should be well above average at FHD.

** UPDATE ** i figured they just added a time threshold so i stuck around like maybe 5+ minutes && i was raiding the base down the road then all of a sudden it drove right in front of me lol so it probably just spawns later than i expected

it doesnt work on as well on tier 1so i rather quick snipe it from the front to disable the vehicle and then run to a different location with my previous location being mined/C4 then flashbang the leftovers/unidad (if they come) and finish them off

It's not even really that that is the problem. Those SUVs tend not to be taken out in one hit, Usually takes 2 hits even with a well aimed HTI round. Either that or I'm hitting them wrong.

Guys, I've found a workaround for the patch v2.0 that makes this method still work. (GUIDE MADE 26th MARCH 2017) I've done a full guide here (the NoHeroes94 one) which is much more detailed but have included the layman version here, just click "read more" www.trueachievements.com/a230784/only-the-best-achievement Layman's version. Once this re-appears on your map (takes a while/doing some other supply missions) do the method as follows and make sure you are NOT detected (not yellow or red) before tagging supplies. Tag supplies, and when it gets to the green screen ( 3:09 ) press the back / touch button, go to tacmap, and repeat as pre-patch. It should work every time. Tried and tested over a 30 mins and 1 hr session. It only stopped working when I tagged the supplies with a Yellow (Hunted) or Red (Engaged) status. P.S on TA it correctly states that I don't have the achievement for Only the Best yet, but it doesn't matter as it does detail the farming method required for it.

Just use mines and underbarrel grenade launcher to take all 3 vehicles, ya you lose some points but you can solo it easy and you get the grenade launcher at level 5. Its tough to take convoy trucks any other way untill you have an emp drone AND a partner in coop mode helps alot. You can also sniper the truck driver (150 meter shot) to stop the truck and grenade launcher the support vehicles but its tricky.

Dont know if you can continually find convoys going by but you can find them on the map all over the place and learning how to take them helps accumulate resources much faster thru side missions, than any other way. If you blow up the truck it is easy to tag instead of running off, but you only get 1/2 the total resources, still better than chasing down the truck.

I doubt it. Often when i see a convoy after searching the map, and fast travel to the nearest safe house the convoy dissappears, so??? But you can run around to find convoys using a helicopter, or fast travel, and you will get the opportunity to take a convoy, but that is the easy part. It isnt worth doing when you cant use a grenade launcer. The early pac mission for the rebels the escorts arent 50 cal trucks and no helicopters assisting, so just ordering your team bots to fire on the convoy will take it (of course dont be near a base or town with narcos or you'll die from the aid they give. At level 5 you get the underbarrel grenade launcher (put on the 416) and then its a piece of cake, just take out the front and rear escort and hit the truck and even tho you will only get 1/2 the points, there isn't any chase afterwards or getting noticed by a wandering unidad patrol to ruin your day and kill you and then you get nothing. You can put down mines if no locals are driving in front of the convoy or C4 (so local can drive in front) but the grenade launcher does the best job as you can adjust to any situation. I am doing a video on it now.

There is also a sniper rifle that one shots everything. It's the Desert Tech HTI BDC, it's really useful for farming convoys.
