Tariq trust the wrong people multiple people have played him from Effie to Diana, Dru and Cane the list goes on. He lost his trust fund to another person he trusted in Uncle Lucas. Ghost would’ve never put himself in a position where all these people would have leverage over him. He would be 3 steps ahead of all of them. Lastly when he reaches Ghost age he still won’t have it because Ghost was calculated he could get from point A to C without dealing with B. Tariq has to explore all avenues in order to plan out his strategy. Zion said it best Ghost knew how to solve a problem before it became a problem.

I feel like this also could be an hallucination but going back to when Tariq shot ghost. In the final season of power we did see all of the characters had different perspectives leading up to the shooting. Im saying this because maybe in the hallucination, Tariq is gonna put things together and find out Ghost is not really dead and its gonna explain how everything actually happened and that's where the cliffhanger is gonna be.

And also its strange because Ghost knows Tariq's every move even though they saying he is dead. And I feel like this is a flashback because in the end of the trailer, Tariq is looking a whole other way then someone is walking from the left side.
