They didn't get anywhere near riders actual power, and besides the first movie was better and they put a whole lot more effort into it, but if they put his full power into a movie there would be no movie cuz he would have defeated the big bad in the first few minutes, he is quite possibly the most overpowered character in the marvel universe, and he never loses. Not like every other hero who has a loss and then comes back and wins, and in this scene if it were rider at full power blackout would never have stood a chance, it wouldn't have been a fight

Many people did not like this movie, I think this was much better than the first one and the director did a great job on the ghost riders character I think he really captured the essence of who they demon really is.. loved the blistering and peeling of the clothes..and using a Vmax as the motorcycle was brilliant, always hated the chopper look.

I honestly love this ghost rider mainly bc of his overall look. Black bones bc of the fire. Melted and bubbling clothes like molten tar. Everything he touches turns charcoal black bc of the hell fire. And his insanity. The thing to remember is that the spirit inside of johnny was driven completely insane. And his behavior is the result of that deranged spirit up until the extraction where he acts normal.

Despite his tendencies to overact, I’ve grown up with seeing him as Johnny Blaze and I’ve grown to like his performance despite some of its quirks-which can be fixed by proper facilitation by the director. I do however think that the casting for other people may require some work or again have their acting be facilitated well by the director. I could be wrong, maybe it’s just the script after all but I think they can do more, or a better result could be yielded with what they have (except the script, that thing needs to be reworked defo)

@@JJMomoida Because, I gotta add, I admire Cage’s acting during Ghost Rider mode, his erratic and strange movement is well done-his movement is inhuman by nature, giving off an uncanny valley of body movement which is a nice touch to the otherworldly element of the Ghost Rider. There were some gestures he did in the movie which were just plain weird, and some directed actions that were off in a bad way (like when he was swirling around when he was hit with a flashbang in the quarry scene; that action didn’t make sense.)
