Esse é um dia na história dessa banda, que dói de assistir. Tobias perdeu um irmão no ano de estréia do Ghost, eles iam performar no palco mundo, primeira vez no Brasil, se promover no Rock In Rio, deviam estar nervosos... E foram humilhados pelos fãs do Metallica. Tinha tudo pra ser maravilhoso e inesquecível de uma forma boa... Mas a imaturidade do povo que só foi pra ver os favs, acabou deixando essa memória desagradável. Não sei se mais alguém notou que haviam lágrimas nos olhos do Tobias, em alguns momentos dá pra notar. Acho que se não fosse pela máscara, talvez desse pra notar alguma expressão de tristeza nele... E agora são notados pelos fãs de rock em geral. Cá estamos nós, em 2024, pedindo pra eles nos incluírem nessa turnê de 2025 e passarem por aqui de novo! (Não pude ver eles na tour de 2023, espero que poder ver eles tocarem ao vivo ano que vem).

Aconteceu o mesmo com o Rammstein quando eles abriram pro KISS no show no Autódromo de Interlagos. Não hj, mas há muito tempo, GHOST e RAMMSTEIN se transformaram em duas bandas super cultuadas com shows em palcos espetaculares e ingressos vendidos em poucas horas. Também não vi GHOST no Brasil, mas se a banda se apresentar novamente em 2025 eu vou de qualquer jeito. RAMMSTEIN eu vi! E para quem não consegue sair da bolha de algumas bandas próximas da aposentadoria, meus sinceros pêsames.

@ cara, já em 2013 tinha teorias de que era o Tobias e alguns integrantes do Magna Carta Cartel (banda indie antes dele formar o Ghost). Lembro que eu eu estava em um grupo no Facebook que discutiram sobre a identidade deles e uma mulher conseguiu puxar a lista de passageiros de um voo e lá tinha o nome do Tobias, Simon, Martin, toda a equipe deles também.

Probably just some attraction made for people to spend more money. Rock in Rio isn't really about "rock", it's more like "a funfair-with-pop-bands-in Rio".

@@sinisilmäärock in rio is not about the rock genre. rock in rio, since the first edition, was never a rock festival. the "rock" is the verb "to rock". equivalent to "party in rio"

Foi o show que mais marcou a noite pra mim. Parei pra ver como seria e quando percebi o show estava no final e eu estava parado do mesmo jeito babando e sem piscar. Malditos que atrapalharam essa obra de arte gritando indevidamente.

yo también :/ aunque amo todas las eras de Ghost y me ha encantado cada Papa... realmente amo esta era más que a ninguna otra de Ghost y extraño a Emeritus II, infestissumam siempre será mi era favorita de Ghost !!

This was a band. I don't care what Forge says. These MEN did the instruments on the album as they play and sound exactly like the album with the skills and confidence as shown. Forge sounds so much higher pitch now than here. They need to go back to this style and datkness.

I like how it's grown overtime! as the character tobias changes the live performances reflect it and I think thats a neat shtick. cardinal/copia having that poppy sound fits him, while secondo having this dark evil stern look fits his character. that being said i do still prefer their older music for the dark sound, but it doesnt make the newer stuff bad. theres a broad spectrum to choose from!

They didn’t play on the album. It sounds the same because at the time they were using a lot more backing tracks to achieve the same sound as they did in the studio with fewer people.

@@Northdracula⁠ Papa V is probably Father Jim Defroque (from Jesus he knows me) Like they’ve been building this character quite a lot so definitely has some roles to play in the future. So, yes probably a bad ass.

Yup. Ghost was still rather underground in Brazil back then, during some parts you can hear people calling "Metallica". Also religion is strong here. After Prequelle, Ghost finally went mainstream and now people love it. But in 2013 it was still under the radar here.

Fuck, I love this band! I am so privileged to have seen them on their first US tour and have been to every one since! That said, this is really a crappy show. The mix is terrible, the band (especially Papa) seem very unmotivated, and Forge’s voice is off key through most of it. Bums me out, since it’s a pro-shot. This isn’t a video I would watch more than once, for those reasons.
