Well said.... agreed. I've seen people get scratches on them as well. Who knows why but that doesn't mean they did it. Unfortunately, it's in so many thumbnails that it is not happening that much.

First of all, thank you Joe for your rant. This needs to be addressed and who better than JFV. You don't beat around the bush and get right to the point. I love that. I actually got kicked out of one of those groups you mentioned with no warning or reason why. I have my suspicions as to why but you know, I don't care because I was sick of the hypocrisy and nasty people. So they did me a favor. Anyway, My mouth is getting me in trouble. Obviously when you’re showing examples related to the discussion that’s very beneficial, but I’m keeping this as an idea if I’m ever doing a video where I’m just talking. As long as they have an audience willing to watch, they’ll keep going. So many things are cyclical in life. Truth in the paranormal will have a spike & then it will wane, & vice versa. The truth eventually prevails. It isn’t fair that the real stuff doesn’t get noticed more, but maybe one day it will. I know I’m not going to change myself just so that I’m more entertaining. My goal is & always has been to try to find answers to the unknown, dive into the history, & just spend time at these locations. Even if nothing happens, it is still worthwhile to me.

I can agree with everything you said, good one you for saying it. In any community the people involved should act in a professional manner. There are those out there creating paranormal content just for entertainment, and anyone who looks will see it is not real. Just own it and be honest about it. I had a concern with one of Dawson's thumbnails. He took an image of someone who had been scratched (or at least had marks) during the investigation and he put bright red streaks over it for the picture. And so I commented about it. And he replied and said his piece, and we left it there. I don't like that he exaggerated the scratch like that, it feels like click bait to me, but as he pointed out, someone did actually get a scratch during the night, so he felt like it was ok to do that. It wasn't a huge deal, and it was cool that he responded instead of deleting my comment or something. It's not that hard to just address things

To me it's okay to not believe it's when you get hateful about things that I get upset. I am not stupid because I believe in spirits. I go by the saying believe half of what you see and none of what you hear when it comes to anyone. I have a brain and can use it. There is also another saying about sticks and stones...well the words might not physically hurt but they do mentally hurt. I know what I saw when I was younger and hearing people tell me it was all in my mind...that hurts because I KNOW it wasn't. If someone beieves something then it's fine if you don't but that doesn't mean you have to call them a liar either.

Hey there, joe! Things have definitely gotten out of hand compared to, say, over a year ago. Some, not all videos, have taken some of the fun out of watching them. Then, you see different creators do the same exposure of one channel over and over. I stepped back due to the behind the scenes drama. There are alot more debunkers out there now and a few air things that were meant to be a private conversation and it seems to me are looking for further drama or a tear down which in my opinion could lead that person to become unstable from excessive stress put on them. Rebuttal is fine, but some take it to places it shouldn't go.I agree you did a great job on this, Joe. I just came to YT to be entertained and educated more. Not to see or hear a small posse posting negative comments that could lead to self-destruction in any way. Sorry for my "rant" Joe, no hate meant at all, please. Much love always, ❤Stormi

I don’t believe her hand touched her neck. I believe she moved her hair. And if she had scratched herself, she would’ve had skin breakage. Or peeling. I’m not saying it’s a ghost, it is something that does happen but likely causes some sort of reaction

@@Sue_Mackey those type of markings can be really thin or wide. I was unable to get footage of the other markings on her neck, which were much much thinner.
