Ghost Talking with Buttons?

The video of Punkin (I call her Baby) pressing her first button is entitled Cat presses first talking button." and has been up here on KZbin since the day she pressed. I think it's very interesting that this happened within days of this self talking button thing!

I saw this happen on another Channel with talking cats! It happened on two separate occasions. Can't remember how many buttons were involved. I think their buttons are the fluent pet either original or speak up. Someone commented that it was a cat Ouija board 😂 Seriously though, definitely a very odd technical glitch

The first batch of classic FluentPet buttons did have a relatively high incidence of a particular mechanical issue that caused an intermittent activation of a small number of buttons. The newer ones reportedly did not have this issue. The SpeakUp buttons work differently and I have never heard of one activating spontaneously. Of course, that doesn't completely rule it out! But the Connect button is so totally different I can't even imagine this happening, although we have considered it. A couple other things--the 3 buttons were all purchased at separate times from different batches and reside on all different tiles on different parts of the soundboard. The other thing I have thought about is Punkin herself. She has never shown any interest in the buttons at all. Suddenly, 2 or 3 days ago she goes to the board and presses "cat." We assumed she meant herself. Now I have to wonder! Thank you so much for commenting. I am considering all thoughts on this. ❤

Interesting about the older buttons acting up. You think that would be fixed in later versions. But anything electronic is subject to glitches. Although three different buttons of two different types misfiring at the same time is very peculiar .....

I noticed Punkin move their head in direction of now button as if something flew from them..right before sounded. Animals are sensitive to all that in environment ...better than people today. .. I would say land had drop in energy...weather change etc. so normal life boundary dropped. Could be low battery, but kind of suggestive to ghosty when cat's name is said when that cat close by. Guess put up with it as sign of land going through season changes too. All that growing season versus settling down for fall and winter (as time am writing this comment in August) affects things

Do batteries still need to be installed in each fluent pet button? If so, could be a sign the batteries are running low. My bike lights get glitchy (random turn ons etc) when their batteries run low
