Hmmm. I wonder if using a kneaded eraser and blotting away the charcoal would leave a bit more of the charcoal linework, and still create the ghosting effect instead of rubbing with the pvc eraser. This is a great effect! I think grey ink creates a similar effect which I look forward to seeing in your next video. Very cool tile!
