Fun fact : you cant see laser even by using smokescreen. The laser can only be seen by special googlre, i.e nvg or infrared scope

If it is an IR laser, yes, only with electronic optics (NV, thermal, even digital cameras works sometimes). If it is an normal laser, you can only see the dots where he is from and where is pointing, the tracer, no. When you put some sort of smoke between the beam patch is the only way you can spot it. And yes, there are actual traps set using laser to be active once movement inside the beam's path has been detected, I just can't confirm Wich type of laser it uses
