Absolutely loving Ghost especially Sarah but the whole cast are fantastic and doing such an amazing job, the show is going from strength to strength. Can't wait to see it again.

Sarah and Andy Moss really try hard but they are not up to the job in my opinion. Stunt casting doesn't always work and I think this is a clear example of it backfiring. Oda Mae's character is fantastically acted, however. There is a lot of talent onstage but not in the lead roles...The show is a huge disappointment when compared to previous productions.

@@msfs19941 That is correct, i'd rather listen to someone go out of tune than a clone. Musical theatre technique is so rigid, there is no room for personality.

I don't know whose idiotic idea it was to have a pop star with no prior pro musical theatre experience perform in a professional tour, but I hope said person never works in MT again! Harding was SO far out of her depth it was embarrassing, not only could she not sing in tune, but her acting was mediocre at best, and her co-star (I believe a hollyoaks actor) wasn't much better, probably the worst production of anything I've ever seen; SO glad they recast the two leads for the most recent tour, but I really wish musical theatre casting directors would stop asking pop stars like Sarah Harding and Alexandra Burke to perform in main roles, when there is a whole plethora of trained professionals who would do a far, FAR better job in the role! Sadly all they seem to care about is ticket sales, rather than putting on a good production, and so go for big names over someone who can actually perform the leading roles at least solidly, the only production I've seen where they had a big-ish name in the main cast was when Rhydian Roberts played the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, and he was fantastic, largely because he comes from an operatic background and has experience of performing demanding roles on stage.
