My issue with a lot of the remixes is that they lack a lot of the tragic touches of the original track. Making a very mournful song way too upbeat.

I'd say this would be a lot more fitting for a Ghost Town Act 2! After all, it's the same song, but this time with some slight alterations to make it sound just different enough not to be its own spinoff of the source material.

Ok this is a good step, now this cover is using FM synthesis is more Génesis accurate. Not all people advice this on their descriptions, thanks for doing it. Only that this sound like an OPL3 (sound blaster pro) cover because the amount of channels you're using. This PC sound card have 18 FM and the Génesis 6 FM and 4 PSG (square waves and noise generator)
