Yes, I mad a mistake. There are some homes in the hills around but not to many. You are correct there are not many people living there for the amount of tourist’s.

A place to skip; you won't miss anything. A real tourist trap with all of the phony shops full of garbage.

It is touristy, but we had a lot of fun, we were able to look past that and find a lot of history in its past, the locals are friendly and the town is very old and a big plus for us is it is also Route 66 history. Thank you for the comment and watching.

You're full of garbage. I'm an artist who works there, and there's a lot more to the town than gift shops. The people here really care about keeping this place, the history, and the burros alive, so keep your negativity to yourself.
