Lakhpat Fort is located in the west part of Gujarat. Once a town of a population of 15,000 people, trading daily in Lakhs of Rupees, Lakhpat is now an abandoned wasteland. An earthquake, caused diversion in the route of Indus River, which forced the people of Lakhpat to migrate from there overnight, which is why it is known as the ghost town.
