There are different classes in the trams?

Yeah, there is Silver class (standard) and Gold class. The ticket for the gold class is twice the price of the silver class, but I haven’t seen very much difference in the interior (in metro trains there are a bit different seats). The only benefit is that it’s probably never crowded (which is not the case for the regular Silver class).

Maybe you dont know yet, but Alstom has developed a solution to the overhead electrification. I think Russia doesn't have any because Putin is focused on putting money in Ukraine and not other more important things in Russian society. Regardless, its a ground electrification based system, the info is available on Google.
