Ghostbusters 2 Hot Wheels Elite

This will be a review on my Ghostbusters 2 Hot Wheels Elite 1:18 Diecast ECTO 1A. Enjoy.

My head cannon for why the ghost hold up two fingers is he is just holding up a piece sign. Even though I know it represents ghostbusters 2 for marketing

The cars missing an amber light on the front grille, was just below the right hand side aircraft strobe.

If you watched the second movie you would see a close up of the license plate and when you see it the Statue of Liberty is in between echo and 1A. And if you look on the hood their should be a ghostbusters two logo and on this one there is no ghostbusters two logo. You can watch the movie and see for yourself.

I’ve just got the jada 1:26 diecast ecto 1 and absolutely love it, been after one for such a long time but just couldn’t find one anywhere I went to loads of model shops but never had the ecto 1, but I did get the knight rider diecast that is 1:26 by jada and it has a working scanner light. I’ve got a lil collection going now, but just absolutely chuffed that I managed to got hold of the ecto 1 and want to collect the different versions of the ecto.

the jada one is cool but its missing the roof spot lights on front and back, but its a nice model, I'm an ecto collector too its fun seeing which model has which details etc. if you want a tip, these hot wheels elites have been appearing direct from the source (china) on aliexpress recently. the original and 1A. just a heads up.

@@Mikebuster I have just recently got the playmobil Ecto 1 A and wow that is an amazing piece with working lights and the iconic siren the build quality is solid and I really enjoyed putting it together. So I have just purchased the Ecto 1 from playmobil the first one from the film, the car is exactly the same build it's just got the blue lights and the different roof items. If you haven't had them yet I highly recommend them just fun putting them together then switching the lights on and the siren, they do come with figures to and accessories. I've seen the hotwheels one and Lego Ecto 1s they are awesome and the blitzway that one is absolutely massive and incredible detail. And just recently got the playmobil Knight Rider that is awesome to with scanner light, and Kitt says different phrases from the series playmobil have done an outstanding job with these models.

All that attention to detail, and they couldn't get the color pattern in the light bars correct. There aren't even blue lenses in the front bar in the movie car... :/

Okay thanks for clearing that up.I was just wondering because i was watching a pixeldan review and he mention that mattel wanted the figures to have removeable proton packs so that they would fit in an Ecto 1 that they were going to make. Apparently they didn't get enough preorders for it so they decided to not make it or something like that and i was wondering if they would fit in the 1:18 scale Ecto 1 or Ecto 1A

Come to think of it I remember seeing a video of a prototype ecto 1 by Mattel that could fit 6 inch action figures with removable proton packs. It also had lights and sound effects.
