Just watched it yesterday together with kids and we all loved it, I think it’s a great movie suitable for all ages, doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of the originals or whether you’ve even watched the afterlife one, still you’d enjoy this one as a separate piece. Highly recommend 🍀

I think the problem for me was that there were too many characters and too much being crammed in. Either Winston or Ray as a mentor would have been fine focusing on the family finding their feet but all the other stuff wasn't needed which is why it failed for me. Talking ghosts was a misstep for me as well as there was far more they could have explored with the aspects of seances and mediums. Loved Afterlife but this wasn't very good at all for me.

Yep that pretty much sums it up. You can't quite hate it but can't quite love it either. Good viideo rental. Glad I saw it though but I don't think non Ghostbuster fans are going to be pulled in. It seemed like the biggest problem preventing it from being great was the time. Little under 2 hours was not enough time to fit all the storys in. I think the higher ups controlled the length of long the film could be. I think there might be an extended cut of the film when it comes to video

Yes I'm a diehard GB fan and the jokes didn't land and there's a lot of problems with the pacing/storyline structure. Enjoyable but Afterlife much better film imo.
