I hope so! Using the theme song will just amp-up the excitement. They've said there's heavy influence from The Real Ghostbusters. I recall a few episodes (When Halloween was Forever comes to mind) that opened with the theme song and ghost catching action. Here's crossong the streams, I mean crossing our fingers! 😉

Peck is one of the great day to day foils in movie history, glad he's back (you may not have encountered a ghost, but most people have encountered a guy like him)

Hi Vicki! We're taking care! Last night was fun, we just started taking down the Xmas decorations. lol It's been raining here a lot, and that stuff can't be put away wet. This was kinda the first window we had. Before the reaction we went to Fire Wings, ate chicken wings and went down a deep rabbit hole of '90's music. Haha And THEN we got around to the trailer. @TheRetroManRandySavage Rick Moranis hasn't been confirmed, but there's speculation out there. That scene, I think it's in the international trailer, where the old team and the new team are standing together in front of ECTO-1 and the floor of the firehouse starts to split; the first frame or two of that scene, you can see someone run off to the left of the frame. It looks like they're suited up and wearing Nikes, nobody knows who it is, but the theory is it could be Rick. I have not seen that Ray Parker Jr. movie. I've never even heard of it. Interesting!

When you say its missing the themetune, like most reboots with a famous theme it needs to be earned. Afterlife it was perfectly placed for Ecto1 returning over the Brooklyn bridge. IMO like GB2, there will be an incident or bust at the beginning if the film and theyll drop the themetune🚫👻 Also the biggest ommission of the franchise, back when us fans were DREAMING AND BEGGING for a GB3 is Oscar Barrett. He was thought to be a no brainer to be a Ghostbuster and still, nit even a mention. Lucky and Podcast make no sense returning to me. A weird family who youve just met and are invilved in a huge incident in their town, the parent of Lucky & Podcast just let them go to NY?? It needs explaining as Oscar makes way more sense!
