I love this! I totally missed out on the Target exclusive dirty version and I am glad I did. THIS was worth the wait! Can’t wait for the official figures. I made a custom set using Star war at-st figures and Playmobil proton packs. Keep up the great work! Now… we just need a 1/12 version for our plasma boys

I like it but the playmobile versions with the lights and sounds seem much nicer. I wonder if the 3.75 figs will fit in there nice or not.

I gotta say that the Ecto-1 car looks very detailed and I love how they added some of the details on top of the Ecto-1 car and some on the inside of it as well, looks pretty neat 👍🏻👻🚫😁

Got mine on pre order from Hasbro Pulse UK. I believe after it sold out they made a second round of pre orders available that will be delivered later than the first batch.

What would you say is the best 1:18 scale Ecto?

The first one that comes to mind is Hot Wheels' 1:18 diecast, so I'd go with that. Prefer the 1A slightly over the 1, but either is great.

I just wish the rear driver's side door opened on this one. Wouldn't that make it easier to get figures in and out of it? After all, it is made for figures this time.

As far as I know, the rear driver side door is meant to not open. There is no point to opening it on that side as there is equipment right there. No seat. I believe this is true to the original movie. That side was not used. The seat was removed for equipment. So this would be accurate. Also, sorry to say it looks like the figures in the front will be able to fit. The two back seats seem to be too high to let figures sit withoigh hitting their heads. Saw some videos show that. So unless they make the figures smaller than standard 3 3/4 they will only fit in the front.

I don't know why they had to not put the silver/chrome on the top of the tailfins. It was there on the afterlife version so why not put it on this new version. Makes no sense at all and comes off them being cheap.

@brunswicksquaremusic5905 What? Your comment makes no sense. Where did I say anything about changing anything from 1984 or from a different movie set? All I said was not putting the silver paint on the top of the tailfin that should be there on ALL versions of Ecto-1 when they had it in the previous version seemed cheap. There was no reason for them to remove it.

@brunswicksquaremusic5905 No I said that because it is supposed to be there. It was on the original first Ecto as well. It's part of the 1959 Cadillac tailfin. The Chrome goes around it on all edges. I only mentioned the afterlife version because on that version of the model you can see they had it but didn't bother with this version. Making it look like they are being cheap.

I just opened mine and I'm very upset. Hasbro pulse sent me one with duplicate antennas. The didn't send the one that goes on the side. No kidding. I emailed them and they want tons of information about my order before they can possibly help me. And now they're sold out. I'm a major GB collector and I'm so upset and disappointed.
