That's just incredible! I can't wait for your board to be available on Etsy 😁 1 question - I saw that you used a transmitter module with its own antenna hidden inside. Was it not possible to use the outer black antenna for the transmitter?

I did try and ream out the top antenna to fit the 2.4Gig antenna in it, but it ended up that I was cutting through the side walls by the time I had enough room, even though I had dismantled the 2.4gig antenna. The antenna that sticks out the top is not close to the right tuning (Wrong frequency, its designed for the 400Mhz range) for the 2.4 Ghz transmitter. Another issue was space, that top antenna is right over the gimbal. Now if someone finds a very thin 2.4GHz dipole antenna with an 8" lead and an SMA connector, we'd be in business. To jerry rig something really puts a damper on the RF output, better to go with a well tuned antenna. Of course having the RF inside the case does limit the range, but it is still adequate. I get to the end of my street, but not to the end of the massive park near where I live.
