On the PKE meter the real EMF detector mode is activated by the switch on the bottom, set the switch to the center. To get the IR function on the trap, have the PKE in its manual control mode and hold it up near the bar graph on the ghost trap. Then, whenever you bring the Pke wings/arms all the way up, the trap will play a ghost sound. Also. The trap also has knobs on the front to control the light animation as well as an extended opening sequence. Also great review! Most so far skimp out on lots of things but this covers most!

I’m the head of the ICE ghostbusters in Michigan, and I can tell you from experience that wearing the full suit and gear at events is a blast! It’s exhausting, but folks always love seeing ghostbusters out there. I’m looking forward to adding the meter and trap to my gear, and the zener cards to our items at our table for events.

So cool! Can't wait for mine to show up. I grew up in the 80s, and loved playing Ghostbuster with my Kenner Real Ghostbusters proton pack, trap, and PKE meter. Started putting together a proper Ghostbusters uniform right before I turned 40, and now, just a few years later, we've got all this incredible gear from HasLab. I feel like a kid again.

Exactly. I had that kenner set as well. I also most bought it back in the summer from a toy convention. They were selling it mint in box for $350.00.

I’m happy KZbin suggested this to me! One of the Haslab team members rocked the trap on Ghostbusters Day and he said it wasn’t too bad. My big concert, would be the side rails falling off. Great review!

One thing that drives me nuts is owners calling cables, hoses. They are cables! The proton pack cable that connects up the wand is a cable too. Not a hose. The hose aesthetic on the afterlife pack was Egon using whatever he could to enclose and protect the cables to the the wand without access to loom. Outside of that I 'm enjoying my haslab trap and pke as well!

I just got mine today! A little bummed that you can't carry the piece that opens the trap with you while you're out but I love it. I didn't get it till December 17th so winter for me I bought the previous packages so I have the Ghostbusters pack and the wand just like you do I'm excited to wear everything together

There’s a screw hole in the bottom of the pedal that you can put a d-ring on which you can clip to one of your belt fobs.
