Brings back some fun memories of Ghostbusters for the Atari 2600, which was released in 1985. It was one of the last pre-NES games for Atari.

@@Nordischsound It's amazing how much video games changed in 1986. I know the NES and Super Mario Bros were released in late 1985, but it functioned more like an Atari game as it was technically infinite and there was emphasis on a high score.

Hey Ben, Ein tolles Stück und super umgesetzt. Das Spiel habe ich auf dem Commodore 64 damals oft gespielt. Den Kinofilm habe ich natürlich im Kino gesehen! Und vergessen für mich die Szene in der Bibliothek am Anfang. Die hattest du ja auch im Video. Das Stimmt, leider muss man für Samples immer einen hohen Preis zahlen, nämlich der Verzicht auf den Filtereinsatz, deepsid.chordian.net/?file=/MUSICIANS/L/Lieblich_Russell/Ghostbusters.sid&subtune=1 Hier ist das Original, da sieht man auch ganz gut, dass der Filter still steht :-) In diesem Fall war der Filter unverzichtbar für den Sound den ich erreichen wollte, aber die alte Version ist trotzdem kultig und für das 1984 richtig gut gemacht

Das alte Stück war 3 Stimmig ^^ deepsid.chordian.net/?file=/MUSICIANS/L/Lieblich_Russell/Ghostbusters.sid&subtune=1 man muss sagen, für die Zeit, also 1984 (da war ich 1 Jahr alt) war es richtig gut gemacht und enthält weder falsche Töne noch fehlen wichtige Passagen. Als Kind habe ich die Version abgefeiert ^^ Heute mit Tools wie Goattracker, Midi files oder der Möglichkeit sich das Originalstück ohne ein Tape zurückzuspulen an jeder Stelle genau anzuhören ist natürlich mehr möglich. Toll, dass dir meine Version so gut gefällt lieber Axel 😊🤗🤗

Rob Hubbard sagte mal, damals wurde jeder Ton einzeln mit Code programmiert, da gab es keine Tracker. Und womöglich mussten die Musiker den SID-Chip erst einmal programmiertechnisch erlernen, bevor sie ihn aufwendig bedienten.
