I guess the algorithm put me on your fishing episode, it's becoming more common to see a women fishing, but I went ahead a scanned through your other episodes to see if you fished alot, I think thier is three, but I saw the one about stealing a car, and juvy, I listened to your story and please don't take this the wrong way but alot of women and men have posted things on KZbin just to get people to join thier channel. It took me a few minutes listening to your story and could tell you were being heartfelt and honest, see I was trained to see if a statement/story was true, or a work of fiction. Your story about what happened, I truly wished for you it was one that you shouldn't have ever had to go through. I do admire that you face your fears and not let them control you, it can be a long slow battle and sadly alot of people don't have the constitutional fortitude you found in yourself. I'm going to shut up now, but I'll leave you with this, this ex you described had some issues, well first red flag he was following in his dad's footsteps, to be a marine, sounds like he did what was expected of him or he wouldn't be getting out. Marines are a different breed, and having a marine father that I'm guessing was had the mentality of a marine being his dad, so if he is mentally, verbally abusive, the last place he needs to go is the marines, and if he said he changed and isn't like that anymore, that is him trying to not only convince you but himself. His state of mind is don't trust, if your being honest with him he won't belive you he will belive negative and only that, you were in his mind something normal to hold on to, if you had gone to California it might have been OK for a few days but his doubts would start to rule his thoughts, voice and actions, you have a kind, loyal heart, and try to find the best in others, and dismiss the toxic, he is one that with his marine training is dangerously toxic, he had to relise the problem, like you did, and and come to terms and see the truth. I so apologize for this book long message, just keep up the fishing you'll get the hang of it.

An ex happened to "reach out" a month after breaking up.... people wonder how women can "move on" so fast after a break up.... Its usually because they "move on" while still in the relationship, then when they get with an ex or a guy they had in the friendzone lineup right after, it looks like they moved on fast. 👍

I hadn’t spoken to this ex is over 5 years. I haven’t even given him a thought. He must’ve caught wind about the break up and knew I’d be in an emotionally vulnerable place. Nothing more or less than a dude just trying to get what he wants
