Try adding the authentic warfare sound mod to it and it'll sound even better, i just added the weapon sounds, so you get better sounds indoor and outdoor plus weapon audio changes for a few of them

the main issue i have with this game is that it feels depressing compared to Wildlands. First of all the map is very samey looking everywhere, there are not really super different areas, the towns and cities look sterile, its just not pleasant to explore this world for me. That whole 'Terminator' vibe with the machines and what not, i don't dig that at all.

The mod looks good, but it really exemplifies some of the glaring problems with the game. Things like enemies seeing through foliage, or reinforcements being called to you exact position, then flying away after a minute.

The worst was in wildlands. You could set an explosive on one side of the base, go hide on the other and the second you blew it they'd run straight to your position lol

This is exactly why I just dropped it. The game on the surface really has it all on paper but in implimentation it's way shallower then it should be. Stealth isn't really a thing, Ai can be all over the place, the healing system while cool just doesn't come together and so on.

@@CJ_Williams interesting. I’ve sunk over 200 hours in it and the AI doesn’t pose any of these issues for me. If I hide in or behind foliage and block line of sight, they behave exactly as I’d want. If they spot you, break line of sight and move position, hide, and I’m good to go. If they’re cautious, they don’t gravitate to your position unless you did something to give your general area away. Not sure what happened for you guys.

Nah i love breakpoint customization. I can agree - bullet drop is not pretty good, but the thing you actually need to play snipers is Sharpshooter class, perk which gives you high amount points to range and TAC50. Oneshooting those terryfying drones and 4-shooting helis is so satysfying. Also the nature is awesome. I heard Wildlands offer more in case of main missions but poor customization and emptiness because of Bolivia being everywhere on map from one corner to another makes me feel like Breakpoint wins this matchup. You can change the feeling of a sniper but you cant change the world 😅 Oh and i want to mark out all the above is from what ive seen on KZbin and in the internet because i havent played Wildlands before. I bought Breakpoint 4 days ago throughout the decision between two Ghost Recons and im enjoying this game so far.

@bradskah I'm 42...I've played most TC games. Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon along with Splinter cell. Never said this was his best work...said it clearly when I said it was very enjoyable. The immersive mode was great...enemies and missions get repetitive like in most single player games. Still...enjoyable

I just keep coming back to this game for another playthrough. I'm nearing 1000 hours played. With mods and immersive mode tweaks you can really customize it to your specific playstyle. It still has many flaws, but there is an extreme lack of tactical alternatives on the market. As much as I loved Arma III it just doesn't hold up anymore.

I just reloaded it last week and im really impressed with the AI, missions and new additions. Im getting my sharpshooter up but likely going to switch to pathfinder. Im playing no fast travel and only end in bivouacs (self imposed) on custom immersive with no obj markers and its fantastic

Since I don't play online or with others the main thing I want is better AI teammate control, such as having the ability to set up overwatch or individual assignments, 2 man teams instead of a 4 man group or flanking, it's probably too much to ask for but I can dream 😂

My Ghost Recon career was only the very first game, then Wildlands and now Breakpoint, and I miss that so much, being able to split teammates into sub-teams and control them at a much more detailed level, not only locations but ROE and tactics too. Also how closely they follow me, they are pretty useless in CQB which was annoying enough in Wildlands but is even worse in Breakpoint with there being so many more & bigger interiors in the newer game. The AI teammates in Wildlands and Breakpoint are basically only good for two things: sync shots and saving my ass when I get downed.

I thought the AI team mates in Breakpoint were incredibly useless and yes because of the limitations and lack of orders. Also the fact when in enemy territory your team mates can just casually and openly walk about in front of enemies without a care in the world no questions lol.

I just remembered that I never maxed out sharpshooter or engineer because I pretty much only ever used panther and pathfinder. Crawling around in a ghillie suit is very fun. Also the music in this video is ridiculously good.

I love this kind of mod because my main problem with breakpoint is I don't really get many options to have louder engangements if my cover is broke or longer engagements because even if I am spotted I pop 3-5 guys and I'm all clear until the next 3 man patrol

Nice! I've played 355 hours at Extreme difficulty so far. I rank this game as one of my all time favourites. Played all the FC games but they were just too easy. GR:BP meets my needs. I find it very relaxing, as you can essentially dictate the pace of your assaults (until you get spotted of course). Its possibly the only game where I always smile when I get KIA'd, because it was 100% my fault. My only small complaint is that movement is a bit janky and there's not enough enemies in some of the bases. Haven't played Wildlands yet but that will be next after I've exhausted Breakpoint.

I love this game! Always taking a break then coming back. I’ve played wild lands on ps4 and honestly, this game is just more immersive and has so many customization possibilities. They took what the first game had and expanded on it. The fact that they updated the game throughout its rough start shows they listened to the users. WL Is great in its own right , but BP just feels like a step up in every direction. Especially on series x! To each their own! Happy gaming!

Nice! I'm back to playing Breakpoint after a couple of months away from it. Still a filthy console peasant, sadly. My PC isn't up to snuff for the max settings I want to run the game at. Started a new game as Echelon Agent, Max Schaefer. He was undercover as a "CIA liaison" sent in with the Ghosts for Operation Greenstone. The Ghosts were wiped out and he's on his own with limited gear and supplies! :)

Yeah I agree. No doubt the environment of Wildlands is cool, and I like the idea. But the actual gameplay, weapons, customization is much worse. Also, when trying to plan a stealth mission, it breaks realism when there's random civilians all over the place, and its almost impossible to finish a mission without an enemy noticing you and opening fire when they really shouldn't have been able to.

All the different areas you can go to on the island are so beautiful, the character customization is the best I have ever seen in any game, and the guns are so damn satisfying to shoot.

I was a huge fan of Wildlands, I must’ve sank dozens of hours into it. I absolutely hated The Division however. So when I had heard that Breakpoint’s mechanics were like that, I wanted nothing to do with it. My friend had told me that now it’s different and you can turn all that off. So I seen Breakpoint was like $5.99 on Xbox the other day and decided to go for it. I should’ve done it sooner. Like, as soon as they made that change. Breakpoint is one of the best games ever imo. The initial release was shaky, yes. But after all the updates it is a beautiful game. The nature and buildings are just beautiful. I don’t understand how anyone prefers wildlands. Wildlands was great BUT this game outshines wildlands imo. It is severely more polished and enjoyable.

For me BP was just too boring, enemies all act similar and can be taken out with 2 head shots or a knife. The drones are slightly more difficult, but ruin stealth. Still a very enjoyable game when I was new to it, but it doesn't really have substance.

Totally agree. I keep coming back to this and when I do it always hooks me in again. I play with a set of self imposed rules to make it more immersive and would love to see more 'roleplay' ideas content. Stuff like allow 2 guns but on a points system so an lmg or sniper is 3pts, an ar is 2, a micro smg or cut off shotgun is 1 (out of 4). Can only carry 3 rockets max and that counts as a point if you do. Only use the items that you select on your wheel and can't change other than at bivouac. Only medical items crafting anywhere and basic mk1 grenades and c4 at bivouac otherwise you have to find it. No sync drones or location grenades. No shop, at all, other than to buy new weapons. Stamina on extreme and no sprinting around other than very short bursts of a few seconds. No stealth swim if you are carrying more than a pistol. No sprint swimming. Select in game settings to make it more challenging. Etc etc

I just picked up Breakpoint on my PC. Got it on PS4 when it came out but the gear score stuff turned me off of it. Now that it has Ghost Mode though and I can change things like how dark it gets, turning off gear score, turn down the amount of enemy drones I encounter, limit the number of primary weapons, etc. the game has been fantastic so far. I do need to find a group to play with though.

love this game, wish there were more mods though.. stuff like unlimited customisation - being able to put on any item no matter what, would make customisation interesting (such as NVGs with ghillie hoods), survival mods (like a hunger system), realism overhauls, etc.. i feel like theres a lot if unused mod potential, as right now theres only one or two decent (non retexture or reshade) mods like spartan and the silencer mod... would love to see the next ghost recon game take a more realistic approach (not in the form of a difficulty setting but as the base experience) with in depth systems, it would be nice to see ubisoft improve their AI system for once too, as all their games' AI feels really outdated, so ghost recon would be the perfect game for new AI tech..

6:52 seems a little too aimbot on the AIs behaviour. You claim you'd see someone at that distance coming down, to which I agree, as there's nothing behind you to break your silhouette. But you are already hunkered down beside the tree with 80% of your body obscured, then nearly 2 seconds pass then the AI "looks up" and goes "oh" as you're scoped in, then they react. IRL you could have easily been mistaken as wildlife, but they just start blasting due to some person's obscured (and apparent) binocular sight lol. Good mod overall, but that is straight game braking immersion

Yeah if you're a well hidden sniper taking down 1 target wouldn't automatically alert everyone to your position that quick, the mod seems more like it gives the AI aimbot capabilities.

Hey GhostIsland Thunder, great vid bro. Did you know, if an Azrael drone spots you while you’re riding a motorcycle it will actually chase you and fire missiles at you? I don’t know if this happens in all vehicles but I’m assuming it prob does. Nobody seems to believe me. Maybe you could do video to prove what I’m saying is true.

The best part of the game is the pvp, Ghost War. The feeling of getting a clutch win was phenomenal. The game died and people stopped playing but for me both games got the pvp right.

If these graphics (from early xbox one era) still amaze you in 2023.....Then the games of today, made with Unreal Engine 5 etc. Will Really Blow you Away as they do literally look real !! This generation is a real game changer (pun intended) as there's a decent jump in hardware and software tech.....Developers don't have any excuses now as they've got the tools and power they've wanted to be able to create the worlds they've dreamed of without having to scale-down or strip-out things to be able to have the game run smoothly.....Now they can actually add all those little things and then some, so the only thing that's going to hold them back is their imaginations and skill with the tech. Anyway, Cool Video, Nice One, GG !!

@@portman8909 Yeah, from now-on, they announced last week that they've stopped support for the Xbox One and are only focussed on Gen-9 going forwards. They said in the beginning that they would support the last gen console for 2yrs then move-on.....We've gone past 2yrs.....Now it's time to move-on so this generation can get started properly and the games are looking Awesome !! Not long to wait now until we get the first batch of Proper Gen-9 games, then people will see what the Series-X is capable of !!

Hey hey man. I actually just redownloaded it last night after a year break. I've completed the entire story and side quests. Did some golem island raids and got those exclusive weapons but had to give up because people keep ditching the raids partway through. Kind of running out of fun things to do in the game. Any suggestions?

I like to personally section off an area of the map and fully clear it of all enemies. That keeps me busy for a full hour sesh usually, before i bounce over to something else

I would start from scratch or play through motherlands again on no hud extreme difficulty. Limit to vehicle travel mostly and you could even try the guided mode. Although I don’t bother

@@GhostIslandThunder there's a really fun way to play the focuses entirely on literally finding new hidden spots you haven't seen yet. I was playing this for two years, thought I'd seen every "intriguing location to explore". And then I went roaming with the specific intention of finding new rare places, and I found them! Like the burial cave on Golem Island, that was incredible.

The Spartan mod stopped working for me lately. The Cheat engine says i have some Lua error in line 2 or 3 (cant remember) and CE also started charging for activating it. Is it just in my case??? I really need to know if its just me or not. If its not just me, i need to know if there is a solution for this.

@Adar Winter Dror yea I was just playing it tonight it still works for me, i was just doing some searching though and I found that exact error you've got. Unfortunately, it seems like no one knows how to fix it on the nexus mods website. The forums have quite a few people asking the same thing no one seems to have any answers.

I wish there was a mod to populate the more empty points of that map. It feels quite empty. Oh yeah, howd you get the spartan mod to work. Cheat Engine wouldn't hook into the games instance and let me tick the box to activate the mod?

Yep, load Breakpoint to the main menu then hook it

Before you press start to continue to your profile selector, you need to back out and the actovate cheat engine. All boxes aside from the top activation should be left untouched. If you check any of those boxes it turns that portion of the mod off
