A story I came up with (please watch the cover first if you haven't already): Before the song: It was supposed to be just another mod, one with inhabitants to kill and souls to absorb, but Varelt, in a rare instance, had met her match. The hedgehog… if it even WAS one, wouldn't stop appearing, no matter where she went, how many times she tried swinging her scythe at the thing, it phased right through it, the beast continued laughing, toying with Varelt. More of HIM just kept coming, Varelt hadn't sustained any injuries but her mental state had rapidly kept deteriorating the more she kept fighting this… THING. In a rare moment of peace (or so she thought), the monster was nowhere to be seen, but all of a sudden, Varelt collapsed to her knees, dropping her scythe and grasping her head with her hands. A voice echoed inside her brain: "I AM GOD!" The thing was in her head, her breathing became rapid, her heartbeat followed. The voice wouldn't stop, a crazed smile creeped its way onto her previously panicked expression, it would be fine, it would be okay. "Varelt?" Varelt could barely hear the smaller voice calling her name, standing behind her, was Limulady. Typical, she usually showed up after her job was done, teleportation to other mods was always complicated and the amount of times they had been separated and had to find each other later was too many to count. Varelt's crazy smile increased in size, the urge within her to kill, her attempt against the demonic hedgehog may have been futile, but Limu would do just nicely! Picking up her scythe laughing maniacally; "Aha… Ahahahahahaha! YOU CAN'T RUN FROM YOUR FATE LIMU!" The void around them seems to grow darker as Varelt focused her attention on her current target, who seemed to know that crazy smile and what it meant. Limu prepared herself, she was not going to let her companion fall to the words of whatever was influencing her! Mid-Song: 0:37 As Varelt's mind snapped from the voices, her control over her teleportation powers began going haywire, corrupting the void around her and Limu- no… her TARGET, transporting them both to an incredibly unstable wretched space reminiscent of the demonic hedgehog's dwelling point. This did not stop Limu, as when Varelt unknowingly attempted to teleport them again, Limu set the course to a more calm environment. 1:11 Varelt heard the voice in her head scream: "WHY YOU LITTLE!" She opened her eyes, her and Limu were in a much calmer and coherent environment: Ice Cap Zone. Varelt took a breather, the voice was much quieter here and she could hear Limu more clearly. Limu was more than happy to provide Varelt with a slower tempo to help her catch up with what happened… unfortunately the hedgehog wasn't done yet. 2:06 Varelt let out a scream, as though she had been stabbed, the beast's voice was back and louder than ever. Limu flinched, desperate to know what was happening to Varelt to make her act this way, she continued to fend off Varelt's onslaught as she let out a chilling laugh, her crazed smile back her face when suddenly… 2:24 The beast in her head was fuming, yelling deafeningly: "I'M GONNA KILL YOU RUNT!" Varelt's teleporting powers instantly teleported them back to the void, where Varelt was on the offense once again, Limu could barely afford to sing back in retaliation, it became apparent to her that she was losing the battle. What was odd to her was that, Varelt had not even delivered a single attack throughout their whole song, and it was at that realization that… as red static filled the two's visions, Limu realized; 3:13 This THING, was toying with them, transporting them back to the corrupted space. It had entered Varelt's mind, causing her to be more violent in her singing and it was trying to do the same to her. So that by the end, both would be too tired to fight back. 3:43 Limu wouldn't let that happen though, with one last teleportation to the void, she sang triumphly and loudly, attempting to reach Varelt by outsinging her and with one last: "JUST DIE!" from the hedgehog and Varelt… The song had come to an end. After the song: Varelt collapsed, the battle in her brain had finally ended and all of the pressure and singing had done a number on her voice. Limu instantly ran to Varelt's side, helping her up, the battle was over. Once Varelt got to her feet, she stopped in shock at the sight of the blood-eyed hedgehog behind Limu, who was unaware of the sudden threat. Before Sonic.Exe could strike, Varelt leaped forward, slashing the hedgehog with her scythe. It felt so good to finallly get a hit on the bloody eyed wannabe god who hid behind a twisted version of a rodent's body. The hedgehog did not take this attack lightly, teleporting out of view and behind the two, Varelt's neck and eyes darted over to his current position, narrowly avoiding his claws. Varelt grabbed Limu by the hand and booked it, Sonic.Exe in hot persuit. Varelt began working her teleportation powers, she still had time in this universe but she didn't care, she would die if she stuck around, Limu would too (but why did she care about that?). A giant ring quickly appeared before her and Limu, their ticket out of this nightmare. Limu in hand, Varelt dived for the ring, the two escaping just in time. Varelt found herself and Limu back home, exhausted from what she had been through. She spotted Limu not too far away from her and she thought back on her attempts to free her, whether she wanted to admit it or not, Limu showed great effort to save her from the influence of a being who claimed to be God. Even though Varelt did teleport them back, effectively saving them both, Limu showed incredible effort to help her, and Varelt still felt the need to repay it. Varelt walked over to Limulady, tossing her scythe to the side. The clanging sound the scythe made caused Limu to jump, still on edge about the encounter with Sonic.Exe. She turned around, Varelt was there in front of her. Limu was about to talk but was quickly scooped up and embraced by Varelt. Limu felt shock at first, then warmth. How long had it been since she'd felt this way, or even received a hug in general? She hadn't interacted with her master in years and the few encounters they had, Limu had never received a hug from him. Varelt felt weird on the inside, she wasn't used to giving or receiving stuff like this, but she didn't care. Limu earned this and she just hoped she would appreciate it. Even if it felt so wrong (but somehow so right) to Varelt. And Varelt couldn't help but smile when two pairs of arms hugged her back. It had been a long day for the both of them and a long time spent traveling together, but despite their ups and downs and hurdles… Limulady and Varelt would be there for each other.

You really have a talent for story writting dear ArtC Have you written a story before this? Also, Sonic.exe possesing Varelt it's really fitting, since aside from the cover having the original voicelines, there is also "something" else singing behind Varelt if you listen closely, ehehe

I appreciate the praise, I might not do a story for every video of yours, but I do enjoy writing these for the ones I do. And yes indeed! I have written some other stuff, mostly in other fandoms and on other KZbin videos. There's an ongoing FNF series I make a lot of theories about and I typically enjoy theorycrafting, writing and worldbuilding (and art as my name would suggest). I just kinda go with the flow on these kinds of stories (though I just now realized I made a mistake and put two pairs of arms when it's only supposed to say "one pair", whoops) love the stuff you make, by the way. I also added a little wholesome moment at the end of this story since… well Limu and Varelt have probably been through a lot and it might be out of character for Varelt but I think Limu's earned it at least, the poor things are probably both touch starved… Also I admit I don't know what the "something" is, might have to rewatch in the future. Well done on the video and cover, stay creative and stay legendary.
