The best retractable hose system on the market can’t wait to see the RF handle so you can have Handle control like a normal central vac
@PerformanceReviews2 жыл бұрын
I can't wait to have that as well there's one I can order right now that's not so good there's a new one coming out that should be fantastic from what I've heard. You know I'll make a video on it as soon as I can 🙂

I already installed the 50 plus foot of 2 inch vacuum piping through my joists. I used the same chameleon install kit that you got. I have a master’s HVAC license and have been doing commercial installs and repairs for 22 years for Panera bread, McDonald’s, burger kings, and disgusting checkers. So I am more then qualified to install this unit. I am just looking for education from an experienced person in their field, just like I did in my field with the other contractors. Thank you for your time. And hopefully more help with this project.

Not sure what you're hoping to gain by a KZbin comment? Even if you're doing the labor it would still call your local professional and have them give it a once-over. Call your local professional and pick their brain.

Good product review. Years of development on the correct hose pitch, diameter & new formulations to prevent stretching so the stinky hose soc could be eliminated & larger id hose could be used. Shame HP didn't want to also go socless.

They do make a a version without the hose sock.

Hello again. What kind of unit are you running in your house for the chameleon? I am trying to figure out how much power I need to make the 50 foot hose suck into the wall easier. Yea bank you for your time.

Will 145 inches of water lift be enough in a 2000 square foot home for the Chameleon hose system?
@PerformanceReviews2 ай бұрын
Yes that should be enough.

How did you keep piping from falling down while you attached and glued to new valve?
@eltanoster2 жыл бұрын
I really like this, I would love to incorporate it to my central vacuum system. I have a few questions . Does the hose stores inside the pipe? Doesn’t the hose get dirty inside the pipe? Also, what’s the size of pipe needed to store the hose?. Thank you in advance
@PerformanceReviews2 жыл бұрын
The hose stores inside the pipe. It does require its own special raceway with special elbows. For more information check out their website here:www.chameleonvac.com

Hello sir. It says in the chameleon instructions that you are supposed to have hose storage area always above the valve never below. I see you installed it the way I need to install mine, but the instructions are telling me otherwise. Is it ok to have it installed with the storage going below? Thanks

I've installed several that retract into a basement instead of going up without problem. It is definitely easier when you install it retracting upwards though.
@thefurious692 жыл бұрын
@@PerformanceReviews why would you say it easier? I am installing it for a 66 year old woman that is why I ask. Will she have a problem retracting it into the wall? I plan to get a 12,000 square foot power system for 3,000 sqft of living space so it sucks it in easier I hope.

Hi I have a central vacuum question I plan on getting one installed in my house I have a one-story house it's a four-bedroom house about 3,000 square feet which Central Vacuum would be strong enough and good enough for that
@PerformanceReviews2 жыл бұрын
MD 715H ,Vacuflo DB8000 would be the two I would recommend off hand.

Can this system be retrofitted in a concrete slab house (attic installation) with high ceilings (10’ and up to 12’+ in some areas I think)? Someone told me that fire blocks could be an issue.
@PerformanceReviews2 жыл бұрын
I would call your local installer and have them assess it. My general thoughts are yes but I would have to see it.

@@PerformanceReviews I have a similar question. We haven’t even poured the footers but our house is also going to be a on a concrete slab. I wouldn’t have a house without central vac and this is the one I want. Is there a video or info that my builder can get? I live in WV

The company that sold me the genuine chameleon kit told me to go on KZbin to help me with installation. That is why I’m here getting help. To prevent mistakes. The only reason I see people in my experience don’t help other people is for job security and that is their biggest fear. I met too many people in life that do half ass jobs to be scared of my industry not needing me anymore. I am never surprised when I start the breaking ground part first and I see how much contractors suck and hide their uneducated choices behind Sheetrock and floors.
@PerformanceReviews Жыл бұрын
Can you send me an email? I can forward you some dealer information or some links a little bit easier. Nothing really to do with job security more with me not being able to look at it or help much through KZbin comments. It's always good to have a second set of eyes on any project. I know exactly what you're talking about with contractors and construction stuff being half-assed. Alex.PerformanceReviews@gmail.com
