should get your camcorder repaired, think its focus function is becoming faulty. the electronic clicking sound

Hi Jordan, the infrared camcorders aren't faulty, just a rather bad design from Sony. The microphone on these camcorders is right underneath the lens and because these cameras are focus hunting all the time in the dark we get this noise. We are going to be upgrading these cameras very soon as we don't like the sound either. :)

Ah I see. Looking for a camcorder myself with 0 lux and can see IR, do you recommend any? :) I found the Panasonic HC-W850 Saw the FDR-AX100 and FDR-AX53 All look quite good camcorders, what do you think I should go for though?
