This is a compilation of the greatest combo performed with every single character in Super Smash Bros Melee history! This video features the absolute best of the best when it comes to sick and entertaining Melee combos, with the entire cast!

PS: For some of the lower tier characters that have almost no players playing them at the top level, there were no absolute #1 combos, so for certain characters like YL/G&W/Kirby, it became a huge toss up between the best combos and the combo could have been one of a few, so if you know of a somewhat-famous combo for any of those characters that you preferred, it was probably heavily considered by me, but barely missed out. Sorry :(

Star masterc Roy’s hitboxes single handedly ruin his character completely since he has good weight, good frame data, good movement and great grab range but his moves are complete awful because of their hit boxes.G&W u can slightly tilt the shield I believe as well as the fact that his defensive options aren’t good at all but his offence is not too bad so I’d say Roy boxes are worse in my opinion. I could be wrong

The Ness one was cool; it's a great example of a low-tier character pulling some trick out of his/her ass and catching everyone by surprise (he did 40% damage and took stage control with a non-committal projectile). The Bowser one... Fox whiffed and edgeguard and got soft-read. He took 4 hits as a result, and went from 16% to a star KO.

I always love GRSmash's content and he's made many good videos over the years showcasing the best that Melee has to offer, but in this video, I feel like I was just underwhelmed at many points? Though, I did 1000% agree with the choice of Peach and Falco clips despite how many great moments there are with those characters. I know it's hard to really say what the greatest combos are because it's a subjective matter, but some of these combos really didn't feel like were close to the best combos for their respective character. The biggest example is the Fox combo featuring Moky, where I acknowledged the technical facility of the combo but felt like I had seen other players do similar things. It's really subjective to decide which fox combo is best, but I think some valid contenders are Mango's combo on Plup's Sheik at Smash Summit, and Hax$ dismantling Nintendue's ICs at Pound. For other characters, I just felt like off the top of my head I could think of other combos that could have been considered as better. I just went back and watched a SAUS combo video and I feel like some of those clips could have been put in place of the Link clip, even though Bou's combo was insane too! I also swear that Hungrybox and Axe have better combos than the clips shown in this video, and despite how hype the M2K Marth combo was, I can't help but think that I've seen better combos (both technique and hype) from M2K, PPMD, and Zain. Not trying to detract from GR or any of the players here, I'm just trying to give my perspective on this. I understand that the title is subjective and that saying 'greatest combo' helps grab views. I'd love if you guys would reply with links to other combos you think can fight for the greatest with their character! As always, love the content GRSmash, and thanks once again for giving us a glimpse into Melee's absolute sick gameplay. The fact that we can argue about the true greatest combos without reaching a real answer just goes to show how sick melee truly is.

There's definitely some better combos out there that exist, but for example, Bowser. It's likely DJN, but people have seen clips of that blue turtle hundreds of times. It was interesting to have a diverse set of players to choose from. There definitely could have been more research for Ness, Bowser, and Zelda, but it's slim pickings tbh.

That Captian Falcon lip with S2J is I think the most impressive. Game 5 a stock and a half down and they pull that out. Armada's clip was insane too but that falcon knee was sweeeeet
