Looming 118 feet over historic Ghost Town, GhostRider is the single-largest attraction in park history and one of the longest and tallest wooden roller coasters in the world. Brave riders enter a mysterious mine, only to be strapped into gold, silver and copper mining cars and sent along 4,533 feet of twisting, unforgiving timber. Highlights of this massive themed white-knuckler include a dramatic, 108-foot initial banked drop, 13 additional drops, sudden dips, banked turns and maximum G-forces of 3.14!

I remember going on this ride for the first time, I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I must say though, this is the ride I always save for last when I go to Knotts. Best ride there! Also, I would recommend you do this one at night. It makes it so much more fun.

I got on this ride for my birthday I turned 60 didn't see any old folks like me just teens, I made it through the ride it wasn't that scary it was to bumpy and loud. Call me crazy but I always want to do a coaster ride and this was my first big one. I thought my back would bother me after the ride but its been 4 days and I feel great.

To people who haven't been I this ride. Here's what you need to know. A. The ride (in my opinion ) goes very fast and I almost fainted and thought I was going to fall out my seat. B.for people that don't like heights, don't go on this. The ride is just mostly going down and up really fast. C. It is really bumpy during the whole ride

Oh my god 😂 I went on this two days ago for a field trip I swear there's a lot more wood now (obviously due to the remodelling) but it's much more faster and horrifying for me atleast, But I loved it! Great video!

davidkimproductions Xcelerator is fun, but it's kinda short. I'd go on it a few times in a row if the line was short. I usually just go on Montezuma's Revenge over and over since the line is almost never too bad. Ghost Rider is my favorite, and I always gotta do Bigfoot Rapids to get a little bit wet. :P At Six Flags, I like a most of their coasters I like Goliath and Batman and most of the others, but I felt like I got a fuckin concussion from X2. At least it felt that way.

davidkimproductions i wasn't comparing, or stating that it was better or worse, i was stating that this wasn't scary compared to something like Xcelerator. I am comparing to the same park since the person may be unfamiliar with SFMM or CP rides, and I believe that Xcelerator would be the most intense coaster there, so i chose it to use. I was stating that he could be somewhat foolish to think this scary, which it may be to some, hence rides like Xcelerator exist at that park.

I remember going in this ride like two years ago and it's so terrifying! Once you get in the roller coaster you think ur fine, it goes fine for a few seconds but then when it starts going up the pressure keeps building up and soon later your stomache starts to churn, when u go down ur face completely feels like it's coming off

I used to hate wooden coasters. The fact that they are made out of wood always scared me. I used to think that steel coaster were way better. Well they still are, but after riding this ride I began to love coasters overall. It was a fun experience, experiencing where coaster began. Yeah it shame you like hell but just know where to sit. Middle to the front is the best. The back is where the whip lashes happen lol!

All roller coasters are "tunnel tested". To explain what that is, they basically put a wooden or metal frame around the train that represents a riders arms and how far they can stretch out of the trains. If you could hit it with your arm on something it would be removed. This myth that your going to hit you hand is complete crap. Just a near thing theme parks do to scare guests.

I live 5 minutes from the park, they have had the same trains for as long as this ride has existed. Copper train, Silver train and a Gold train (that never leaves the maintenance bay.)
