Ghosts are the strong emotions and personality of a deceased person. The reasons why they may appear to some ppl is either, they remind the ghost of someone they knew of the past life or they still want to continue on in this realm as if they were still alive. But thats what i believe...

You will feel like that until you experience something unexplainable.

Non-existence isn't frightening AT ALL. If you don't exist, you can never suffer. It's EXISTENCE that's truly terrifying.

Is there somewhere that we can see the whole thing and/or obtain a copy of it? I've been searching Google for over an hour and no luck. :-/

Just because the actual existence of ghosts hasn't been proven scientifically doesn't mean they don't exist. True, their existence conflicts with ideas of how the physical world works, but the supposition is that they are not physical, but spiritual. Hence, it would make sense if they didn't follow physical laws.

Nobody has proven what dark matter is...but it exists. We thought the sun revolved around the earth just a few lifetimes ago. Not proving something doesn't mean it does not exist.

Absence of evidence is certainly not evidence of existence either so until substantial evidence of existence is found non-existence is a safer assumption.

there is a saying that if a scietist says it is possible they are more than likely right if they say something is impossible then they are more than likely wrong

Insted of attacking me on my non-existant mental disorder, why arent you attacking my views and points like would normally expect from people living in rich, highly educated countries? Be reasonable, im not forcing these ideas on anyone. But its surprising for people to continue on what one person has started (i.e calling me names), but that behaviour is custom in sheep. :)

The ad hoc excuse is that they are not physical but some unexaminable quality called spiritual that seems leave people free to make up anything that they want.

yeah... he either stated that really badly or meant something entirely different (I hope). How else can you explain mythology? Those are definitely stories that are passed along from generation to generation, as it were.

I'm not impressed by the credulous commentary. Why should it be up to science to disprove ghosts?. The woo-woo-lovers have the burden of proof since they are making the positive claims.
