West Bengal me bhi Bhaidooj (Bhaifota) bohut hi grand hota hai...state holiday rahta hai...Rakhi hota hai per grand nehi, holiday bhi nehi rahta hai...per Bhaifota ki din govt holiday rahta hai.. per process different hai..only sisters give chandan ki round tika on brothers forehead and chant a sweet poem thrice...and then brothers give gifts to sisters.. though now we exchange gifts .. matlab sirf brothers hi gifts nehi dete hai, sisters bhi dete hai.. aur elder sister/brother blessings bhi dete hai younger ko... ❤❤ Fota means drop... bhaifota matlab Bhai k forehead per chandan ki drop Dena.
