@ i’m talking about my friends experience. He started deepwoken around almost 2 weeks ago and he already have a max build. He came from games like Hades, Spelunky and Rogue Lineage. The game isn’t hard anymore. Everything is free, legendaries are dropped like candies in chests, same goes for relics. It takes like 8 hours maybe for a beginner to reach max lvl OR EVEN LESS. Deepwoken is not at all a "hardcore" game or if you would call it one then it would prob be a super mild hardcore game

theres only a few instances that perma death works, like events (like shown in the video) in which progress is greatly buffed or loot is increased with permadeath exclusive items included in the pool. either that or specific permadeath areas like voidzones in deepwoken. from what im seeing, this game dosent check any of those boxes and seems to be a way to completely remove a threat from the game or something

If nobody knows who you are you either have to be a streamer, a pvp god, or a girl because nobody is gonna take interest in a random grunt.. even if you try your best at rp it just boils down to spec battlegrounds

i do believe when i bought wave 2 for peroxide, it was a little less then what this games wave was with much more content. i think that 120$ price tag was for soul lord which wasnt required since the game released not too long after that. i think it just let people get ingame cosmetics and what not for supporting the game to that extent

I considered the katana the best out of the standard issue quinques. It has the best mix swing speed and range out of either of them. The crit hitbox has some crazy latent hit frames, it's almost a guaranteed hit as long as you keep facing the enemy.

As someone who bought the robux cc access the game needs a LOT of work! Idk why they have the perma death because in the tokyo ghoul manga (anime is bad + non canon at times) ghouls can become unkillable? But the game is still fun and has a lot of potential but I do not recommend buying the robux cc access at all! (I personally don't regret it because I had 2k robux just sitting there for 10 months now and roblox was dry so it was either a tokyo ghoul game or spending it on bs gamepasses or tower defense garbage)

Dude i remember playing this game during open alpha or smthing. When did they add a price tag tf? The grind in the game sucks. in order to increase health as a ghoul, you need to get hit like 500 times to get an “injury” which if you heal you get a perm buff. There was also sub classes in this game for late game.

Just saying you're pretty off about balancing. 1. CCG might have an advantage early game but Mid-Late game things become funky. S+ Ghoul Regen if they have any basic knowledge of RC cells is INSANE. The amount of work a single CCG needs to put in to take down a ghoul is 3x than what a ghoul has to do to put a CCG down. You might argue that "Their ghouls their supposed to be harder" okay, but are ghouls actually rare enough to warrant that? No. Their probably the largest population in the game right now. I've personally watched a Special Investigator and a SSS ranked ghoul fight, and the Investigator was putting belt to ah against the Ghoul but still somehow lost due to the sheer amount of HP he had to chew through to knock the ghoul down. The "Anti-Heal" aspect of what the CCG has is ridiculous, as it doesn't solve the issue because it's only delaying their regen, not canceling it. You'd need to full combo them from 100% to 0% for it to function properly. Otherwise you're pausing their regen for a few seconds, then they'll regain it again from their hunger like it wasn't even there regardless. CCG has like 2x Ghouls baseline HP, which turns to like 1.5x when the ghoul has clothes. This doesn't outweigh the multiple healthbars worth a hunger a ghoul can easily obtain. Especially when ghouls do more damage on average then a CCG player. This game isn't balanced, and no'one likes playing CCG because it's a environment where you have to party with strangers, or convince your friends to also purchase access and play CCG for a mere 10% damage buff that wont affect the outcome. If you're entire existence is to gank ghouls when ghouls are the majority of the playerbase and can ALSO party up and team up. Then the whole gameplay loop is trashed because why do you want to play CCG in the first place if you can just wipe a few times and have a much easier/relaxed progression?

Played this game (or a copy of it) for free, it wasn't all that fun. From what I could see, it's generally easier to play as a CCG person, as being a ghoul it's much easier to get wiped by just trying to grind up, and due to the map being so tiny, and (very few spawns), it makes it's far more difficult to not be seen by a CCG. Whiiich means you get flagged and uh oh your wiped! and CCG's don't have much to worry about, unless your a strong ghoul it's easier to just not bother and switch to CCG. Could be different now, but also the factor (when I had played) that progression was a nightmare, and very much NOT worth paying for.

90% of the time when I hear a new CC game is released (especially the anime ones).. they either die after a week and I never hear about them again, devs make poor balancing decisions after a week and I never hear about them ever again, or there's a massive content drought after a week and I never hear about them again, what I'm saying is don't waste any more then 5 dollars just to get access to a game because chances are it doesn't have enough longevity and just tries to have cool mechanics

Let's be honest? The game doesn't look bad, for those who like Tokyo Ghoul, it's a very good proposition! BUT the game is very punishing, charges so much money for early access, clearly favors players who are friends of the Devs. These things make the experience very unpleasant. With all my respect to those who like permadeath, but you sometimes forget that in a game where PVP exists, people from countries where they don't have Roblox servers (like Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, etc), the lag is IMMENSELY higher than to other people, which wouldn't be a problem if you could simply avoid conflict with other players. Other than that, the lack of freedom that the player has is very problematic. If I have a friend who I want to play with, but we are of different races because we like to play with different things, will I be penalized for helping my friend? Does the game punish you for wanting to play your way? Where does this make any sense?

Only thing this game needs improving on is the combat. You complain about getting jumped but then complain about not being to team between factions which would increase the jumping 10x and make progression impossible. For the permadeath you can literally wait out the pd in a safe zone you literally have to TRY to wipe in this game for those of you bitching about permadeath games just dont play them. You can not handle losing your progress or an unforgiving game its not for you stop crying cuz you cant handle losing something in a roblox game this game s issues are the balancing between factions he says ccg is stronger early mid game but late game ghoul is stronger but it doesnt matter cuz you get jumped?? If you max out as a ghoul you can literally solo 10 max rank ccg members thats how strong late game ghoul is. You literally become some type of bossraid

idk if you actually played the game much, Ghoul Points currency exist and you can change your faction, kagune type ,etc. And you get ghoul points EXTREMELY FAST . Please stop spreading misinformation since I dont think you played more than 2hrs :v
