Have you tries D’addario XS’s? They’re way better than the XTs and I actually like them better than the exp’s🤷🏻‍♂️

If you change the G and D from this set, you'd be better off just buying an entire different set of strings, since A and E are plain steel, like most strings set. The silk&steel part of the set applies only to the wounded strings (G and D).

Absolutely. If I remember right, I was thinking I might end up with a mixed set from different brands. Thankfully, it didn't come to that (I think, haha) and I'm likely to end up using the Octocore set as my main strings. Still have some testing to do though. I have some more videos posted on my Nate Lee Facebook page, and I'm gradually posting them here as well, so stay tuned! - Nate
