I have this monitor. For work, it's MUCH better than a 1080p monitor. Text is crystal clear. The stand is also excellent, and the USB-C output gives me true 4K output from my laptop. The size is good, 32 inches would be too big. The image was initially dim because the default mode is eye saver or power saves, so once that default nonsense is turned off, the monitor is very clear and bright. So many monitors have a terrible stand, but this stand was great. Another inch higher would be ideal, to better clear the laptop screen, but it works. The flat metal base is also nice, and doesn't get in the way. Good purchase so far.

Are the speakers decent ?
@AmazingChinaToday2 жыл бұрын
@@robmijn The speakers are OK. Since they are rear facing, mounted in an unsealed hollow monitor shell, and are probably inexpensive drivers, the sound is as expected. Honestly, the speakers are a freebie, so can't really complain. I mostly listen with headphones, but for system sounds and casual listening they work good enough.

When I plug in the hdmi cable to my laptop at the same time the noise goes away, even if I still have usb-c as the source and it’s charging.

in windows 10 if you scale to text to 150 or 125, is it pixelated?
@user-fb3iy1wh9v Жыл бұрын
Ok my LG 4k 27" it is not pixelated. Pixelation does not depend on scalling, but on pixel density alone (how many pixels per inch the monitor has). My Samsung QHD 27 (This model on a lower resolution) the pixelation is a bit noticeable, specially on tiny letters. On a 24" FHD pixelation is bad. On a 27" FHD it is plainlu horrible.

This is just "this monitor is good" , "good colors" reading straight from the official website BS ! This is not a review , this is just a shameless promo ! Why is it that gaming monitors are the only ones getting proper reviews yet professional office monitors where customer base have higher standards get skimpy ad equivalent of "reviews" like this ?!
@fcf82692 жыл бұрын
As monitor for games, even for occasional gaming it is just trash sadly. You get what you pay for... This is an awesome monitor to do 2 things: work on videos/photos and to watch movies. Even internet is basically horrible as experience, since the refresh rate cause ghosting on the panel if you are reading a bright page with dark text. Unlike a 120Hz or higher panel, where scrolling of text is smooth, on this monitor you get a lot of blurring and ghosting. Which is sad, since even 90Hz would be enough to remove the issue, but this is not a gaming panel to start with, so nothing against Samsung for making a cheap 4K monitor that is made for 2 specific workflows, and nothing more. HDR is also pretty much useless on this monitor; so if you can afford 300-400 dollars more, get a better 4K monitor that double as gaming monitor and also has a good HDR response. If you use this as secondary monitor just for video/photo editing and to watch content; then it is totally worth the money
