Beautiful, young Hindu girl Nirmala is kidnapped the night before her wedding by Rasheed, a young Muslim man, to avenge his family’s honour. In this novel, it's not shown as romantic lovestory, but the plot of kidnapping of nirmala had been imposed on Rashid by his family by Forced him to swear of his aunty, who had been raped by the by the money lender (Sahukar) on the name of all that loan and its interest or you can say that this is how things were made but the good behaviour of that boy change the sentiments of the girl. All the hate turned into love when the boy Rashid had been good enough to the lady.
