ग़ुलाम मोहम्मद वो संगीतकार थे जो बहुत टैलेंटेड होते हुए भी ताज़िन्दगी संघर्ष करते रहे। उन्हें कभी उनका हक़ नहीं मिला, उनके बनाए शाहकार को हम आज भी याद करते हैं, उन गानों को गुनगुनाते हैं मगर कभी उन गानों के संगीतकार का नाम याद नहीं किया जाता। अगर आपने ग़ौर किया हो तो सिने-इतिहास में कुछ ही नाम ऐसे मिलते हैं जिनके बारे में बात होती है बाक़ी कितने ही हुनरमंद रहे मगर उन्हें सिरे से नज़रअंदाज़ कर दिया गया। ऐसी ही हस्तियों में से एक थे संगीतकार ग़ुलाम मोहम्मद।

Ghulam Mohammad had worked as assistant music director of Naushad for 12 years upto 1952.Then he had independently handled music direction of Film Laila Majnu & Mirza Ghalib in 1953. He had recorded all songs of Film Pakeezah before his death in 1968.Due to the marital dispute between Meena Kumari & Kamal Amrohi,Film Pakeezah could not be completed till 1972.Actress Nargis had persuaded both the estranged husband & wife to complete shooting of the film. Naushad had scored background music of Film Pakeezah.Kamal Amrohi had offered to Naushad to consent for his name as Music director of Pakeezah, but he spurned his sinister offer !

Naushad had composed background music for Film Pakeezah. Ghulam Mohammad had recorded all the songs of this film well before his demise in 1968. Kamal Amrohi had offered to Naushad that he was willing to provide full credit to him (Naushad) as Music director of Pakeezah , but he had strongly refused to accept his sinister offer !

आपने बिल्कुल सही कहा उन्हें फिल्म मेकर नहीं पहचान सके। स्वभाव से वे शांत, ईमानदार थे। वे अपनी ब्रांडिंग नही कर सके। सोहराब मोदी उनके संगीत के कायल रहे। एक समय वो था जब उनका संगीत नौशाद सा. से भी ज्यादा पसंद किया गया। उनका बड़ा पुत्र बड़ा ढोलक वादक है।

Please rectify that Lyricist Shakil first time wrote songs for Ghulām in film Ghrasti 1948,directed by S.M.Yousuf 2- Pugree 1948,directed by Kalidas 3- Shair 1949, directed by Chawla .4- Paras 1949, 5- Pardes 1950,directed by M.Sadiq .6-Kajal 1949,Directed by M.Sadiq.7- Sheesha 1952,directed by Shahid Latif 8- Amber 1952,directed by Jaywant Desai .Then the name of Laila Majnu 1953 comes ,directed by K.Amarnath ,composer Sardar Malik also a co musician in this film .

Please rectify your record that Lyricist Shakil Badayuni and Ghulam Mohammad started work together from S.M.Yousuf’s film Ghrasti 1948 ,then Pugri 1948,Paras 1949, Shair 1949,Padres 1950, Sheesha 1952,Amber1952 .Then your stated film comes that is Laila Majnu 1953. Before Laila Majnu 1953 , Shakil Badayuni penned songs for Ghulam Mohammad for átelas 9 films .

Madam ghulam MD. बहुत ही बेहतरीन sangeetkar थे उन्होंने तमाम fillmon में बहुत ही शानदार संगीत दिया naushad mia को ghulam md ने ही ustad jhandekhan से milaya था और एक selection कमेटी में interview में ghulam md naushad से बेहतर साबित हुए पर selection naushad का हुआ क्योंकि ghulam md behad सीधे our दुनिया Dari से nawaqif इंसान थे और naushad mia होशियार और duniadari में mahir थे इसीलिए जो स्थान ghulam md साहब को मिलना चाहिए था उस पर noushad kabij हो गए वर्ना naushad के सहायक ghulam md नहीं होते बल्कि naushad उनके सहायक होते अब उनकी pratibha naushad को मशहूर होने में सहायक हो रही थी उनके intakal के बाद naushad का संगीत फ्लॉप होने लगा क्योंकि naushad के संगीत की melody और compositions ghulam md के दम पर ही थी उन्ही के कारण naushad का संगीत लोकप्रियता के नए 2 shikhar chhoo रहा था उनके जाने के बाद naushad की कोई फिल्म musically hit नहीं हुई आप कह सकती हैं की ghulam md साहब को इतना शानदार संगीत देने के बाद भी वो स्थान नहीं प्राप्त हुआ जिसे we deserve करते थे ईश्वर उनकी आत्मा को sukoon bakhshe
