Here is my story of SOLO trek to Kapuche Lake(8th November night to 12th November morning (2019)) As I was eager for a solo trek, I choose for the Kapuche Lake. So I went to the Sikles on the very first day from Pokhara.(5 hour drive from Kaukhola>>Pokhara) So the next day I went up to Hugu which took me around 5 hours. The dense forest and steep hills add the beauty of the trek. The jungle is so dense that some people might get really scared. People from Sikles say that there are many wild animals inside the dense forest, so we literally need to be cautious. When you travel alone, the adventure is extraordinary. A small different type of noise from the forest lets to think like a huge bear is gonna attack you. But still this is the fun of a solo trek. I slept in a tent with sleeping bag in it at Hugu the second day which was really different type of experience for mediocre level trekkers like me. The third day I went up all alone for the Kapuche lake which took me exactly 1 hour and 25minutes to reach there. When you have a first glance at the lake, you will literally feel like BLESSED. The blue water and the huge mountain just above the lake adds the cheery on the cake. Then, it took me exactly 1hour to reach back to Hugu where lunch was waiting for me. That day only 3 people were there in the forest, Kancha dai, Gore dai and myself. The same day after my lunch, I went back to Sikles which took me around 4hours. Stayed in SIkles the very same day and the next morning I took the jeep to Pokhara, took a night bus to KTM and today morning is the day when that bus dropped me in Kalanki. This was my small summary of my Solo Trek to Kapuche. The day when I was going uphill, I was the only single person in the entire jungle. You can imagine how one would feel in that scenerio as they said like wild animals are all around. This was really scary some time but this is the goal of a solo trek, you wanna WIN over the FEAR inside you. I really recommend for non trekkers to go for a trek and if you are already a trekker, I challenge you for a solo trek ;) . Thank you GHUMANTEY for letting me know about this wonderful place. I already feel like my life is literally gonna change after this amazing trek. (P.S. People in Sikles are so friendly that you will love taking with every other person you meet. Really thank Maila dai for supporting a solo traveler like me.
