Can you please explain why you deliberately drop the 3 sustains at 2:29? Even after watching your video explaining slow vs normal ticks, I don’t understand how dropping ticks could possibly get you a higher score.

When you let go of the bottom sustains before hitting the top sustain, the game will compensate you for the points from the FULL extended sustain sequence at the end of the top sustain, even though you already started hitting the sequence with the first notes. So the amount of points earned between the first sustain and the last sustain basically gets duplicated. I think I need to remake that video, I know much more about it today and think I could do a better job explaining it.
