Great collection! I have the action sailor from the Masterpiece Edition and I think they did a nice job. He has black painted hair and blue eyes, although his pupils are so big that the blue is an outline. The book is cool, too; I enjoyed reading it. I have the figure and the book in my china cabinet, while the boxes are packed away.

That's a nice action figure and book to accompany it. Awesome. Love to get hold of that for my small collection just started collecting blessings from England. But you can't beat vintage 60s 70s figures

The painted hair Joes had either brown, red, blonde or black hair placed randomly in boxes. The color of the hair was random on every service so your blonde guy is not a pilot because of his hair color. That happened with the flocked AT Joes. The Astronaut had blonde hair typically with no beard though he sometimes came with brown hair. The Air Adventurer had blonde hair and a beard.
